This does require a little bit of assembly, but it’s not at all difficult. I would rather in arrive safely and unassembled than to risk any of the pieces being bent or broken. The size of this chandelier is perfect for a hallway or bedroom or even an entryway. It’s not massive and heavy. It has a single bulb so I would recommend using this in an area that’s intended to be lit as such or has additional lighting. It’s a great showstopper but likely not going to satisfy your lighting needs in a large room if this is the only lighting fixture. At 10.5”, it’s about the same diameter as the old ceiling fixture and was way to retro fit due to the canopy. The light and crystals are 10.5” from top to bottom, but the extension rod is adjustable. You’ll need a minimum that plus the length of 1 extension rod. This has so much flare and personality. The gold is a bold yellow gold. It’s not muted or pale. It’s shiny and bright. The media could not be loaded. This just makes me happy everytime I look at it. I love the crown design. It’s made very well. The silver is a shiny silver. The crystals are really pretty. I’m have an electrician put it over my vanity and it’s simple to add the crystals when it’s up. This just looks Hollywood glamorous to me :) ... show more
