What difference this thing makes! I was using the 18inch Vevor miter gauge which worked, but this thing is a big improvement. It took me 15-20 minutes to put together, I checked the angle cuts with scrap and they were all right on the money, and slides nicely in the miter slot. The stop block works great and I love how the micro adjust works! The only thing I changed was the handle for locking the angle, it comes with a plastic handle that feels solid, I just prefer the turned aluminum handle that came with the Vevor. Overall a great purchase at a reasonableprice!

GOINGMAKE Table Saw Miter Gauge with Micro Adjust Flip Stop — We’ve got a pretty impressive miter gauge here. I was quite excited and thankful to come across this on the Vine program as I recently bought a saw stop contractor saw and have been collecting accessories a little at a time for a couple months. I’ve gotten the mobile base, cast iron side table and router wing, dust box, router fence, dado brake, extra inserts and had been looking at miter gauges when this one came up at the perfect time. I would for sure describe this as a precision gauge. The first and most important thing to note is it’s fully adjustable… adjustable everywhere it's needed. This appears to be all anodized aluminum with a black painted finish on all but the plastic knobs and handle which are thick and robust, it's plenty sturdy. As seen in the listing it has spring loaded pinned stops at all the expected angles but of course can be set to any angle with tightening down the handle for settings between the pin stops. Comes with an 18” fence that doesn’t extend but plenty long enough for most needs in my experience. It also has a t-track face where an extended sacrificial fence could be added for both length or zero clearance at the blade. Includes a nice quality stop block system with magnified glass for setting lengths on the full length scale located across the top of the fence. As seen in the pictures the stop has an excellent micro adjustment wheel for fine tuning minute changes to your measurements. Finally what I really liked seeing is the adjustable fence bracket stops where the fence connects to the gauge. If you look at my picture of the fence bracket with the fence, fence knobs and main handle removed you can see two set screws on either end of the back side of the fence bracket.. on the next picture notice two big flat studs on either end on the opposite side (side that goes against the fence) these can be adjusted in or out to perfectly square it to the miter slot as well as tilting it forward and back to square it to the table top. Basically meaning the fence can be adjusted on both axes to fine tune it to pefection… “That" is what we want in a miter gauge. I’ll go ahead and point out the few minor concerns or thoughts for changes that crossed my mind. First off I’ll say, at this competitive price value for a precision miter gauge some compromise is expected. So.. if you look close at my first picture you can see a small scratch or gouge on the back of the right side. This has a nice looking finish but I have a feeling it will show any battle scars quite clearly. It is a painted finish that will show its scratches but that won’t affect performance, after all, it is a tool. Secondly the fence is cleanly cut to length but would have looked a lot nicer if they had chamfered and smoothed off the edges on either end a bit. Lastly and a bit more of a concern and less of a nitpick is the adjustable washers to dial in the fit to the miter slot are plastic. Which may be fine as plastic miter bars can be bought for sleds and such.. I have some that have been fine. They’re plastic split washers with a counter sunk bore that basically just spreads out as a counter sunk machine screw is driven in the center. They may be fine, but with all the sliding in the slot it makes you ponder it. You could always replace them with brass washers and just sand the edge down for fit.. just a thought I had. Very nice miter gauge that seemed dead on when checked with a square. For me the fully adjustable fence and awesome stop block system are the stand out features. I like it a lot – 5-Stars.
