I have bought this three times. I think the amp burns up cause I have no where to put it other then saddle bag. My sportster is used as primary transportation 12 months a year. I get about one year out of the amp. I ride through crazy rain and the remote is slightly inside the windshield my bike is very rarely covered so not bad really. Im buying my 4th now cause I just don't think you can beat the price. Cons Need to unhook the radio if it's going to set for more then a few days. This is where a connection to the plug-in on the bike would be nice but it's wired directly to battery. ... show more

The people at go hawk were great to work with, I didn't receive some parts in the original box. They sent them to me right away. I mounted this on Yamaha 1300 v star with the original exhaust and a windshield. I have good volume at speeds up to 60 and 65mph. I will also mention I have discovered that some of the soundtracks on my phone have stronger volume than others. And on the good soundtracks volume is very decent at 70 or a little better. The soundtrack different isn't a function of the stereo, so in summary I'm very happy with the system. I ride a lot by myself, and this system has been a lot of pleasure for me. Note, remember at higher speeds any type of system is fighting a losing battle. Rule of thumb, if you have regular exhaust and some type of windshield and enjoy music, then this unit is for you and it won't break the bank. The down side is the amplifier is not waterproof so it must be mounted out of the weather. I really wish they would come up with a waterproof unit. other than that, I'm very satisfied. ... show more

The speakers were easy to install. They weren't loud enough when I was riding on the highway. They are distorted if you turn them up too loud. I feel that the speakers are not strong enough for the 1000w amp.

    • Burn fuses.

Wasted of money, since day one burn the fuse, replaced and burn again. Replaced worked one time and burn again. Is mounted on the motorcycle and replace the fuse again and never worked, got wet after never worked right. Reached out to company , no help. Had other one before on the motorcycle and had no problem. Company sent a new replament. Working for now. Hopefully stays. I wish for a kill switch, which will be needed. ... show more

If i could give this 0 stars i would. Terrible product. 1st problem is sound quality. Good luck understanding anything you are listening to. 2nd the fm radio picks up maybe 1 station if your lucky. 3rd dont expect to charge a phone from the usb. I had music playing and the charger was plugged in. My phone still died. I have a new iphone so its not a problem with the phone. 4th ive only had the system installed for 4 days and its already begining to rust. Anyone that is interested in this product should steer clear of it. Speed your money on something else. A $30 speaker from walmart sounds better than this system. ... show more

We bought this to put on our 2018 road king. We had the dealership put it on and they placed two on the crash bars and two on the handle bars. They sound really good when sitting and moving. Of course getting on the highway it is difficult for a passenger to hear. It's a good addition for the amount of money it cost. You do have to turn off the system completely when you turn your bike off or it will drain the battery. Also if you put it in your saddle bag be careful what else you out in there cause it might unplug stuff ... show more
