Good sound system

The people at go hawk were great to work with, I didn't receive some parts in the original box. They sent them to me right away. I mounted this on Yamaha 1300 v star with the original exhaust and a windshield. I have good volume at speeds up to 60 and 65mph. I will also mention I have discovered that some of the soundtracks on my phone have stronger volume than others. And on the good soundtracks volume is very decent at 70 or a little better. The soundtrack different isn't a function of the stereo, so in summary I'm very happy with the system. I ride a lot by myself, and this system has been a lot of pleasure for me. Note, remember at higher speeds any type of system is fighting a losing battle. Rule of thumb, if you have regular exhaust and some type of windshield and enjoy music, then this unit is for you and it won't break the bank. The down side is the amplifier is not waterproof so it must be mounted out of the weather. I really wish they would come up with a waterproof unit. other than that, I'm very satisfied.

Good little system

We bought this to put on our 2018 road king. We had the dealership put it on and they placed two on the crash bars and two on the handle bars. They sound really good when sitting and moving. Of course getting on the highway it is difficult for a passenger to hear. It's a good addition for the amount of money it cost. You do have to turn off the system completely when you turn your bike off or it will drain the battery. Also if you put it in your saddle bag be careful what else you out in there cause it might unplug stuff

Bought these for a roughly 15-20k mile motorcycle trip. About exactly 2 months and 13k miles later, no longer works. The power supply rattled itself loose from the circuit board in the Amp, so now there's just a bunch of useless speakers on my bars and the Amp wasting valuable saddlebag space with weeks and at least another 3k miles left on this trip. Highly disappointed. In contrast, my cheapy boss speakers lasted OVER a year before I decided to "upgrade" to the gohawks. For a product specifically motorcycle oriented one would think it would last more than 2 months. Will never purchase a gohawk product again. Could have just left the boss speakers on and actually had tunes the entire trip. Instead my last 3k miles will be silent aside from my pipes.

Burn fuses.

Wasted of money, since day one burn the fuse, replaced and burn again. Replaced worked one time and burn again. Is mounted on the motorcycle and replace the fuse again and never worked, got wet after never worked right. Reached out to company , no help. Had other one before on the motorcycle and had no problem. Company sent a new replament. Working for now. Hopefully stays. I wish for a kill switch, which will be needed.

I have bought this three times. I think the amp burns up cause I have no where to put it other then saddle bag. My sportster is used as primary transportation 12 months a year. I get about one year out of the amp. I ride through crazy rain and the remote is slightly inside the windshield my bike is very rarely covered so not bad really. Im buying my 4th now cause I just don't think you can beat the price. Cons Need to unhook the radio if it's going to set for more then a few days. This is where a connection to the plug-in on the bike would be nice but it's wired directly to battery.

Sound quality gets a little distorted at higher volumes but sounds great otherwise! Would recommend if you want a great sound for a decent price. I fit all 4 on my Fatboy and I can hear music at 80 on the freeway
