Outstanding quality! I bought this bike for my 14 yr old son. He is a little below the ride height recommendation at 5 ft 4 inches but he is able to pedal and operate the bike well enough for on road use. I'm 6 ft tall and it would be most suitable for my height and taller. The build quality is very good. Easy to assemble (just attach the handle bar, which already has all the components attached to it, attach the front tire, slide in the seat, plug in the battery and attach the rear fender). I'm 240 lbs and it has plenty of power accelerating to full speed on flat pavement. It was raining and night time when we road it so I cannot say anything yet about the power going up hill and electric distance. The headlight light works great. I would purchase again.

THE bike speed on this item is measured in kilometer not mile. The 31mph is inaccurate, it actually travels at 27.5 kmh top speed on a flat surface and higher when going down-hill. When you convert kmh to mph it travels at roughly 17mph. Unless some kind of an adjustment is required that I don't know about. This is what I've concluded. So be sure about the bike speeds when purchasing, kmh to mph. Otherwise it's a great bike.

I love everything about it. Except one. The 17.8mph max it has. I wa able to figure out how to have the bike go as fast as 40 mph. But I keep it around 30. It’s much safer. It’s silly going any faster. U less you enjoy getting hurt. It climbs the steepest of hills with incredible ease. After a week of having it. My wife fell I love and bought a smaller version for herself. And she also loves it. We get groceries in the child cart I pull behind the ebike. Went camping with it. It’s truly an amazing bike. Can’t see myself without one now. And I got it for an awesome price 1200. Compared to the 1900 price tag. Best Buy ever. Highly recommend

After assembly while filling tires to recommended pressure, I noticed a spoke that was detached from the wheel end (hanging from the hub), which I then tried to screw into the wheel. This concerned me as I am aware that all spokes need to be adjusted properly for long term reliability (probably the most critical tuning on a spoke wheel bicycle). All I am asking for is a replacement wheel assembly that I can simply mount to the front wheel forks, after which I can return the defective item to them. My next step was to contact support through their online chat. After waiting an hour for a response, then them asking for an order # and tracking #, their response once they realized that I purchased through Amazon was that they did not support items not purchased through their web site, and that I would have to deal with Amazon for support. I then sent the seller a message through Amazon, describing the situation again. They responded with a request for a photograph. I will now send photo to them and update this review (and rating) with their resolution. ***** Update After sending a picture of the defect, they responded with an offer to send me 2 spokes and $30 to cover my troubles. Realizing that it would cost $350 to ship it back, coupled with the opinion that this is a really good bike, I reluctantly agreed. To fix the issue, I had already gone to a local bicycle shop and had them custom make a new spoke for me (these spokes are not typical length, gauge, or thread pattern), for which I then removed the tire and installed properly on the wheel. Lessons learned: 1) Don't buy anything on Amazon of substantial size/value unless it is Prime eligible. 2) Next e-bike will be mid drive (motor at the pedal assembly), as that style uses more typically sized bicycle parts ****** Final update: After all is said and done, they refunded me $100, case closed. I would not go this route again, as I realize that this is just a company that bulk purchases raw bikes, does cosmetic improvements to make them appear unique, then resells them in competition with others that do the same (with the same raw bikes). Bikes (and anything else that requires specialty service/repair) are best purchased face-to-face at a local bike shop.

This is an interesting one. The bike itself is mostly up to snuff with its $1400 asking price. It’s quit quick and not too loud. Some stuff like the lugs on the wheels are clearly cheap and strip easily. The throttle piece on the right handle bar is cheap plastic. But I can live with that. The problem is that when my motor got out of synch and made my wheel wobble, costumer support just didn’t seem to care. I went through multiple emails posted on the seller website and they just either didn’t respond or told me it wasn’t under warranty, of which the site clearly says motor issues are. Now I have a E-bike that doesn’t E, so it’s just a bike. All in all, not worth. Should have saved up and bought something better.
