  • Good enough to get the job done and low price.
Good for a cheap static balancer. One of the arms was welded a little bit crooked so it took some massaging with a vice and big pipe wrench so the spindle didn’t slowly work it’s way to one side. I’m still giving it 4 stars despite this because what do you really expect for the price? It works and it’s cheap. My only other complaint is that amazon shipped it with no packing material between the manufacturer box and the Amazon box so the little bubble level was broken on arrival. Not a big enough problem to warrant sending it back but come on Amazon. ... show more

  • The metal is twisted, but good customer service by seller
The two arms, when bolted to the base, don't line up with each other. I guess the base is twisted. It also makes it hard to level with the adjustable feet. I was able to bend the metal to make it work. I had originally given this one star for this reason and a few others. However the seller reached out to me and offered a resolution. So I've bumped this up to 4 stars because of good customer service. ... show more

  • It’s okay, not great
The problem is, flex on the horizontal axle that they provide. Even with 18” wheels and 110/80 tire, there is flex. The stand it self is fine. It didn't come with any instructions for assembly. Although it’s fairly simple to assemble, someone could easily place the 4 washers in the wrong place. I also found the bubble level off. That level should sit under the wheel, in the middle of the stand. I used my own level and it was much more accurate. The bubble level is not that precise and when balancing a tire, you need to be level. ... show more

  • Works perfect with some mods
For the price I am happy. The metal is plenty thick and it doesn’t flex or move around at all. It is easy to level too. The only problem was that I had to file the corner of the arms that the bearings attached to because they were high enough to interfere with the shaft and prevent it from resting on the bearings. Not a huge deal, but might be if you don’t have a file. Or grinder. Or creativity. ... show more

  • worked good.
Used it on my honda africa Worked good. Takes a little patience to get the tire to settle, but all in all it is a good investment for someone that doesn't want to pay to bring their bike to the shop. Used this multiple times now for the frontand rear tires. Works good

  • Seemed to work accurately...but not the best
I guess it did the job it needed to do. Seemed like a little friction in finding the heavy-light spot. But, seemed to balance the tire; and I can't really notice any performance issue (front tire; BMW K1600GT). I have 100K on the bike; and I think I would notice an out of balance tire issue (nearly 900K miles riding experience; road and dirt, in over 50 years). ... show more

  • You can do it yourself with this balancer
Balance my first set of tires, ever, this week. Shinko 705s. Teat ride yesterday proved the balance is true. Glad I made the purchase and am pleased with the simple assembly and function. You can do it yourself with this balancer.

  • Good for the price
I saw some reviews that said the bearings where stiff, but I didn't have any issues and feel the quality is good. Set up was easy, the bubble level works well and I didn't have any issues balancing my rear wheel. It doesnt have the attachment to check a wheel for true, but that could be an easy modification. ... show more
