The touchscreen is bright, fast, and makes controlling my flashes so much easier than older models. It’s small, lightweight, and fits perfectly on my camera. PROS • easy to navigate and control • fast/responsive • bigger screen than X3 • battery life is great • range is great • built well* • focus assist beam CONS • it’s BEEFY. Adds some real weight • hot shoe mount seems slightly loose DETAILS I have the Godox X-PRO, X3, and X3 Pro transmitters. I used the X-PRO forever until the X3 came out. I liked the idea of the smaller form factor with touch screen. So I used that for a while and really liked it but wished it had integrated focus assist. Then when they released the X3 Pro I got really excited for the bigger screen and integrated focus assist. However, BEEFY. It will add some heft to your overall camera weight, so that’s something to consider. Every time I use it I find myself asking, “why don’t I just use the X3?? It’s lighter..” Could be a 5 star transmitter but the weight and loose hot shoe lose a star. OVERALL I do recommend it. If you don’t need the bigger screen or focus assist, I’d go with the X3.

I've been a Godox trigger user for YEARS. I was disappointed with the Nano because it was SO small. The X3 Pro (N) just works. It's a perfect balance between size and function. The menu and layout makes so much sense, I haven't had to read the instruction manual :)
