I changed my review from a three to a five star. Reason being, once I received the correct size they are the best pair of pants I have purchased for the winters here in Alaska. The pants are the most comfortable. You just need to order one pair, and try it on. If it's too large/long ship it back immediately for the next size that you think will fit. They run a little larger than Wrangler pants without insulation. So you may have to send back a pair or two to get the best size for your body. Just keep in mind if you hold onto them for a few days, the return shipping won't be free!!!!!! Once you get dialed into the size that fits you best, you will shortly realize they are the warmest,. most comfortable and affordable pants you may ever wear. For the price and comfort you can't go wrong. Old quote: "I live in Alaska and work in a fish freezing plant..., so insulated pants are the way to go. I must say these pants are the warmest i have worn. They are warmer than Carhartt Thinsulate pants. Buttt... Way too big. I usually wear a 34-34. I can comfortably wear 36-34, but they are a little on the large size. So I ordered the 36-34 due to everyone recommending to go one size up, but i kept the pants length the same. I really think they put the wrong size label on the pair of pants they sent me. I can understand wider, since I ordered a little bit larger, but the length is absurd. The length on the legs is more like a 38 or 40. I can put my pants on, and you can't see my toes. So I've been wearing them with the cuff rolled up about 6" inside the pants. This defeats the Thinsulate around my ankles. For some reason with the cuffed rolled up, they are the colder than any other Thinsulate pants I have. With the cuff down, they are great, but I look goofy... If I returned them, due to location, I would have to pay shipping and the cost didn't justify it... With all of that being said, I had to give them a three star. They are great for work, play and lounging. Absolutely the most comfortable pair of pants i have ever had... Just wish they were much shorter. Happy hunting"

My go-to brand for construction work stopped making fleece lined jeans, so I gambled on these. First ever wrangler product, in fact. They are warm, feel rugged, and make my butt look good. Kinda snug in the crotch compared to what I’m used to, but it isn’t uncomfortable. Only thing I would change if I could is an extra belt loop next to the one closest to the button; I only have a 2-3” of extra belt and the end is already curling. Would also love to have the carpenter pencil pocket on the side of the thigh. Not worth deducting a star, though. A surprising bonus is that the 30” inseam isn’t too short as they always are for all my pants.

I ordered two pair for my husband, he absolutely loves them. He got size 34 waist and they have enough room he could put another base layer on if needed. They keep you nice and warm even when it’s -30 out. He told all his friends about them, they have all ordered a couple pairs a piece and can’t say enough good things about them. True to size, great durability and look more flattering than a majority of the fleece lined jeans in the market.

First off, these are WARM. I wear them in conjunction with a set of thermal underwear similar to Under Armor/Cold Gear, and so far the combo has kept me warm down to freezing temps. Anything over 40 Fahrenheit, and these are too warm by far. They are also comfortable - the inside is lined with a fuzzy pile not unlike fleece. The outer duck is durable without being too stiff. Both the crotch and the overall length are good without being too baggy. There are a few small flaws, however. I really wish it had a higher waist back. I find that the pants sag, causing my shirttails to untuck, which is a problem in the cold, unless I tighten it A LOT with a belt. Sometimes it is uncomfortable. I think a higher waist, (is that relaxed fit, where they have the higher waist and more room in the backside?), would solve this particular problem. Also, I wish the bottom foot of the pants cuffs were zippered. The pants are pretty thick, which makes putting boots on a little difficult. I have to fold the jeans over and pull them up so that I can don my boots and lace them, then roll them back down. Not a big deal, but zips on the cuffs would solve that problem nicely. Anyway, you can't beat them for the price, and if you only wear them a few months out of the year, what's the big deal? Recommended.

Not a relaxed fit, buy a size larger if you want to wear thermals or base layers. Much warmer than other brands. Pockets provide greater functionality than sweat pants alone. Excellent finished product, no loose threads, etc. Recommend wearing with mechanics buckle free belt for most flexibility.

I bought these for my husband to wear for riding his motorcycle in cold weather. The quality is awesome and what you would expect from Wrangler. I ordered 36 x 32 (what he normally wears) and they were true to size. The flannel on the inside of the jeans keeps his legs cozy warm, which makes riding a lot more enjoyable. These would also be great for men who have to work or spend time outdoors in cold weather. Super happy with this purchase!
