I’m an amateur photographer, with a lot of expensive equipment (photography is an expensive hobby), I’ve been taking photos for over 30 years. From the film era to the current digital era and I’ve used a lot of difference flashes, but this one is by far the best, ease of use, lighting features and battery life and I haven't explored but a fraction of this unit’s capabilities. it's a bit on the expensive side but well worth it!

I have used original canon products all my life. But I recently read a review of the Godox flashes and how great they are. I could not resits but to buy one to try it out. And let me tell you I am super happy with the decision. I am actually going to be ordering a full set of 4 flashes. The system is very reliable and the features are amazing taking in consideration the price point for these flashes. I think my Canon flashes are going to end up in the drawer. If you are professional photographer shooting lots of events getting a set of Godox flashes is a no brainer.

I have used the V1 on a few jobs now and have been happy. I have used it as an on camera flash or holding it in my hand while using a transmitter. Hypersync works great, power is good and battery life great. As of now, I recommend it and will update the review if I come across issues.

I like the ETTL option and its compatibility with Canon camera, you can control the flash from the camera menu. Also the manual mode is very intuitive and works great with the trigger. You can also control the output of flash when in manual mode via the trigger as an off camera setting. The round head gives a good dispersion with a diffuser.

Bought in 2022, and it no longer flashes. Tried other cameras and it doesn’t flash with those either. Tried the test flash button, nothing. Good product just made with cheap products.
