iT32+X5S iT32+X5F iT32+X5C iT32+X5N iT32+X5O X5S X5F Core Design: What is “Split-Body”? The iT32 consists of two parts: the light body and the magnetic flash trigger base. They connect via magnetic attachment, and the magnetic base can function as a standalone flash trigger. Can it still be used if I switch camera brands? The iT32 light head is universal. The only brand-specific component is the X5 trigger base (available in C/N/S/F/O versions for Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.). Can it sync with my AD200 Pro or V1? The iT32 incorporates Godox's 2.4G Wireless X System. It can function as a “slave unit” triggered by X3, Xpro, or similar triggers, or as a “master unit” controlling other Godox AD or V series flashes when paired with an X5. Can the head rotate? Despite its compact size, the head offers excellent flexibility: Horizontal rotation: 180° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise. Vertical tilt: 0° to 90°. Is it powerful enough despite its small size? Power (GN Value): Its guide number is GN18 (ISO 100). Compared to larger hot shoe flashes (e.g., V1's GN28 or 60), it offers lower power, primarily designed for portable outdoor photography, fill lighting, and event documentation. Excited to use this for a gig. Small but quite functional. Bright enough for what I needed them and small enough that it did not add much weight to your set up. Quite versatile. Used as on camera and off camera flash. Worked well for both. Battery life was excellent. Menu was easy but did require some adjustments. A tad more expensive for the size and power but I knew that when buying the item. Worked well for my camera set up.

I am very pleased with this flash on my Canon R8. Was skeptical of buying an off-brand flash, but I read some reviews and decided to make the purchase. First, the form fit on the R8 is excellent. It is small and lightweight, like the camera. 2nd, it allows me to move the flash off camera instantly, with its magnets on the base, take the photo, and reattach, effortlessly. 3rd, the flash allows full TTL as well as second shutter. Flash exposure adjustments are incredibly easy and intuitive with the control wheel. Lastly, the USBC rechargeable battery is better for me than carrying AAs.

The perfect flash

This flash is well worth the money. With the right settings you can shoot in a completely dark room and it looks like you are in a well lit room. The flash packs a huge punch in a small form factor, and is incredibly versatile. The battery lasted a long time on a single charge. The functionality is very easy to use and figure out. It connects to my Nikon Z6 immediately, all I have to do is turn it on. I would very highly recommend this flash. It is a great option at a great price for all that you get.

A small Fuji TTL flash with modern controls — magnetic X5F is game changers

I’ve been shooting for years and I’m picky about on-camera flash. The Godox iT32 + X5F is the first compact setup I actually enjoy using. The touchscreen + quick controls are so much better than traditional button-maze flashes. Changing TTL comp, switching to manual, adjusting power/HSS—everything is fast and intuitive, especially when you’re working in the dark or moving quickly. And the magnetic X5F design is genuinely unique: leave the X5F on the hot shoe, and the flash head snaps on/off instantly. No twisting locks, no fiddling—just click and shoot. It’s perfect for travel, street portraits, and events where you bounce one moment and want a quick off-camera option the next. Limitations (still 5 stars): it’s a mini flash (GN18), so don’t expect it to overpower sun or cover huge rooms from far away. If you spam full power/HSS bursts, it can heat up—normal for something this small. If you want a compact Fuji TTL/HSS flash that feels modern and is actually fun to operate, this is an easy recommendation.

Best little flash I’ve seen

Don’t hesitate to get this. This is the best little flash. If you want decent power in the smallest reasonable form factor just get this. It’s great. Easy to use. No lag time between using on or off camera. That’s where it really shines. You can pull it right off the camera and keep shooting with any changes in settings or button pressing. Its only limitation would be speed. If you need to take multiple photos and snap them quickly, this takes a good 1.5s between photos at full power. But for its size there’s no complaints.

So versatile and great for all skill levels

I picked up the Godox iT32 with the X5S trigger a couple of weeks ago, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for my everyday shooting. The magnetic snap between the flash and trigger is so satisfying – it clicks on securely for on-camera use, then pops off in a second if I want to go off-camera without any fuss. TTL works perfectly on my Sony A7600 and fx30, exposures are spot-on, and being able to bounce light easily with the rotating head makes portraits look way more natural. It’s tiny enough to slip in my bag, the battery lasts forever (I’ve gotten hundreds of shots without worrying), and it even plays nice with my other Godox lights wirelessly. Sure, it’s not the most powerful flash out there, but for events, travel, or just filling in shadows, it’s perfect. Couldn’t be happier – highly recommend if you’re looking for something compact and clever!
