  • Works fine
It takes a little while but it does what it's supposed to, I'm happy

  • Doesn't work
It had one job: Covert sunlight in power for my devices. It didn't just fail, it used power. I got this because I've lost grid power, for days, too many times. Being able to charge a few devices without grid power is useful. I've got powerbanks, but they eventually run dry. I want a backup, and the solar panel powerbanks all seem to say, "Don't leave them for long in the sun because it could damage the device." Isn't leaving it in the sun the point of a having a solar panel!?!? Out of the box it seemed really nice. Light weight, looked well built, although smaller than I expected. The size was actually nice. I got it late in the day, but the sun was still up. Plugged it into my kindle and pointed it toward the setting sun. Nothing. Tried one of my powerbanks - nothing. Double checked the cord I was using and tested the cord with wall power - not the cord. I had to do some stuff and by the time I got done, it was dark. The next morning I tried again. Neither previous device showed any charging although my one powerbank with a [smaller built-in] solar panel was charging in that spot. I tried another powerbank. That seemed to work. I then tried my small flip phone. That registered charging (same cord as yesterday). I thought, "well, it at least it will charge something". My phone was at 89% and had a better indicator than the one powerbank, so I left it hooked up to the phone for several hours in the sun and did not use the phone at all. When I check on it again, the sun had moved and was now shining even more brightly on it. My phone was now 81%. Under normal use, my phone will use maybe 10% in a day. And that's making lots of calls and using the alarm function. Here, I didn't do anything and I lost a lot of power in about 2 hours. So not only did it fail to deliver power to many of my devices, including a powerbank, the one device it did "talk" to, it actually DRAINED power from. ... show more

  • Solar power on the go!
Much simpler to use than an older model I have. Appreciate being able to purchase different sizes of packs. Like the "kick stand"! Used this first at a music festival and since then have kept the packs charged by tucking the panel into my sunroof; this way I always have solar power ready to go with me on hikes and other adventures. ... show more

  • Amazing Solar Panel
I'm shocked that this solar panel works so well considering it's only a 5 watt. I plugged my Clutch charger into the USB port and it charged it in less than 3 hours. This was sitting on my dashboard of the car. I'm looking forward to taking this out on some camping trips.

  • Simple little solar panel
Purchase with the Goal Zero battery (Flip 24) and while to solar panel is great the same can not be said about Goal Zeros battery’s that snap on. If you plan to only use this without Goal Zero’s battery then this will work as advertised and I recommend. However, due to the Goal Zero battery not supporting pass though charging they made the pair up not ideal! ... show more

  • Great panel
Panel works great to charge my cellphone or gps in the field. Super easy to use and transport, keep mine in my backpack while out hunting so I can charge devices throughout the day. This will also charge the smaller powerbanks they make and works well coupled.

  • So far, so good.
Works as intended. I’ve only used it a few times so far and it has been sunny each of the days. It does take time to charge the battery pack, so don’t wait until you’re desperate. I haven’t tested it over multiple days yet. It’s lightweight. I store it in its original packaging when not in use.

  • Light and rugged, perfect for one person
I was looking for something lightweight and rugged, fits the bill. We had an older model with a double pane, and it just didn't stand up to the abuse of a long through hike. This is light, charges my phone, my camera, my GPS, and I even brought along a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
