I am new to solar and wanted a complete kit with controller, wiring, panel and mounts. This came with everything I needed except the caulk needed for the mounting on the rubber roof of my 5th wheel. I went to the manufacturer's web site and found a very good video covering the full installation process. Followed that and any other written instructions that came with the panel and controller. First important thing is it showed up with no damage. With solar panels you need a 100% item to start with. The unit seemed a little heavy to get up to the top of the RV, but with some ropes and a ladder to slide the boxed panel up it went OK. Followed the video and instructions and everything came out as advertised. Almost 8 amps charge with full sun. Displays percent of charge, voltage, and charge current. With the Xantrex 600 watt puresine inverter I got through Amazon, I am ready for some real dry camping. Would definitely buy again and will probably get the 155 watt expansion panel. ... show more

This thing works and it is awesome. Have a 31ft camper and installed 1 panel. Installation wasn't bad, maybe 4 hours of work. Most of my 4 hrs was trying to find the pre-run wires in the wall. We rarely use our generator now. To run the a/c or the microwave.

    • Great supplemental power for my a frame camper.
I put this solar panel in a wooden frame so that I could mount it on the bike rack of my hardtop camper. I wired the solar controller so that I can charge my batteries. I particularly like the app from go power that allows you to view how much charge you need and have. I’ve been on for camping adventures this summer and find this panel. Super easy to plug into quick connect on roof of Entegra RV and screw down. Controller was a little trickier, had to run wires to the battery but all worked perfect. App is Bluetooth buggy and has to be re-paired often.

The 2020 flagstaff i purchased was prewired for this system. Made install a breeze. As a test i turned my fridge on propane. Killed power to the camper. I ran the system for almost 5 days. The camper is parked in the shade untill around after 11am. We had mixed weather between rain, partially overcast days to sunny days. Itcwas able to keep fridge. Very well made and easy to install, just follow the included instructions, I installed it on my motor home to charge my batteries while out camping and it extends the life of my batteries, let’s me dry camp even longer. Install it yourself and save several hundreds of dollars, don’t believe me go ask what your local RV camper shop charges to install a solar system $$$$$$ ... show more

I installed this solar panel kit and added an extra 200 W panel at the same time and couldn't be any happier with the performance. I did have a solar ready RV so it was fairly easy, did it in a few hours after purchasing some extra mounting hardware after watching a few youtube videos. The videos gave me a couple of ideas for ensuring I had a solid mounting of the panels. My only regret is that I wish I purchased an inverter (DC to AC) for running some of the smaller basic appliances. ... show more

now I'm not sure if it's a marketing gimmick to make it look like a sunpower panel but what showed up doesn't look at all the same. if the output is what it says I'll be okay with it but bad start to show me one thing on the box and when I open it I got something else. second thing bag with connectors was sliced open now I get to play "what's missing?" ... show more
