When my wife came to me recently with the third Apple iPencil that had quit working on her ($$!!), rather than running to Costco for a fourth, I began searching for an alternative replacement on Amazon. And, frankly, I hadn’t much optimism that I would find one that would satisfy her requirements. But, to my surprise, I found this Gnanlan iPad pen — and it checked every box! It is every bit as smooth and sleek as the original, performs every function as the original, attached magnetically to my iPad and wirelessly charged just as the Apple model did, every box! And, oh yeah, the best part .. The price ! It’s so reasonably priced that I could buy several back-ups for less than the price of another iPencil (though I may not need them, as I believe it may be more durable that the original.). I am so happy with this find that I am offering this review (which I never do, unless the item is this remarkable). 5-STARS ! !

Broke tip off of my original Gen 2 Apple Pencil. Tip threads actually broke off inside of pencil, therefore I could not screw a new tip on. Not wanting to pay cost of an original Apple product I found this pencil and , after looking at reviews, purchased. Product looked and worked exactly as described. Charges via magnetic mount exactly as apple pencil. No issue. Holds charge at least as long as not longer than original Apple product. Was able to easily able to add power widget to get power reserve as iPad does not show the power reserve natively. In actual practice, I like having the widget for power reserve better because i can view it without having to attach pencil to side of iPad. Weight and balance are the same as far as I can tell and writes perfectly. It does not have the "click ability" to switch to eraser mode but never really used that anyway. Bottom line - EXCELLENT value for money and highly recommend.

Four stars because it's easy to pair, seems to work well, but it does NOT have pressure sensitivity. It's great for playing games, writing, making annotations, etc. but it's not useful for drawing at all without pressure sensitivity. neat little pen otherwise!

I have had three iPad pens: apples pen, a knock off pen requiring usb c charging and this pen. I loved the apple pen, but then my son took it and it got lost and it was a bit more expensive. So I bought the knock off, which was far inferior, it wasn’t touch sensitive meaning that if I pressed harder into the iPad, it wouldn’t adjust the size of the pencil marking. The usb c charging also was a bit annoying. I then lost that pen and then got this pen and it works just as good as apples pen, charges on my iPad, and is touch sensitive. If I lose this pen, I’m buying it again.
