  • Awesome Rope Rocks the strong, sturdy & handsome!
Color: Black Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 20feet
I like the colors & diameter of this rope. It seems durable & attractive enough for my purpose to make a Macrame headboard on my metal bed frame to prevent pillows from falling on floor. I plan to order a lot more of it! I'll use zip ties to hold it in place & make it more functional. Rope arrived quickly with clean hot knife finished ends so it doesn't fray too! Rope will be easy to clean. It's a little pricey but well worth the money. ... show more

  • :-(
Color: Fluorescent Orange Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 50feet
I was wanting to buy a rope to enter into climbing as a hobby. I only had an 8 figure rappel device and 3 carabiners, so I had to buy a rope. I also buy a tubular webbing at the same time from the same brand to improvise a harness, great tubular webbing by the way. Before trying to climb anything, I preferred to first learn how to rappel and at the same time test my gear. So I attached the rope to a 3 m pole outside of my house with a normal clove hitch. I tried to first support my weight (I'm a 168 lb male) over the ground with the 8 figure but impossible to, the rope doesn't bite the 8 figure, it was like trying to use a pulley to rappel, nearly impossible, it doesn't matter how hard I handle the rope it will just slide right thru the 8 figure, letting me go down like a breakless elevator. I then try a three climbing method with Blake knots, the knot was tied correctly but or it was tie too hard making it impossible to slide across the rope or too loose not bitting on the rope. So I'm disappointed because I can only use it as a normal rope and not a climbing rope for instance. I'm thinking of buying an ATC rappelling device to see if it bites the rope making it useful. Anyway, if a climber sees my comment please comment on what I need to do or buy. Almost forgot, after using it the rope has little bruises on one spot like if it were cut by abrasion, I don't know. ... show more

  • Properly made
Color: Fluorescent Orange Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 20feet
This rope is properly made and just the right stiffness. Sheath fits properly to the core. Made a few eye-to-eye prussiks with it. Very pleased.

  • My Go-To Climbing Cord
Color: Black Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 50feet
This thing gets the job done perfectly. The cordelette is strong, I've been using it for months now without any issue. I haven't died yet, so it clearly works. My local crag is also filled with sharp rock, and so far this has shown no signs of fraying or tearing. But beyond that, the cord just feels really nice and supple in the hands. This quality makes it very easy to tie and untie knots in the cord, even after they have been heavily loaded after a day's use. Even when I am lazy and tie simple overhands in this thing, they always seem to come untied with minimal effort at the end of the day. I love this thing. I bought a 20 footer, came back for the 50 footer, and between the two of them I never need anything else for anchor construction. Great cord. ... show more

  • Dependable but twisty
Color: Fluorescent Orange Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 50feet
It's not as nice as the ropes I get in Yosemite for $2/foot, but it's great for anchors and accessories. It does seem to get twisty, I wish it had a more neutral lay to it.

  • Seems sturdy
Color: Black Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 20feet
What can I say, it hasn't broken yet. I use this rope for climbing sticks for climbing trees, this rope seems very sturdy and has shown no signs of wear yet

  • Great UIAA Certified Accessory Cord
Color: Fluorescent Orange Size: 5/16in(dia.) x 50feet
Just took this out climbing over the weekend and set up several anchors with it. Very sturdy / versatile - held up fine to top roping including several falls and big swings. Still flexible enough to be able to tie knots / loops - including triple fisherman's to secure the ends together. I got this because my 20 foot anchor cord wasn't long enough in some places where I climb to extend over the cliff edge - this is plenty long. I'd equalize my pieces where I wanted the master point and clove hitch the excess off. For those concerned about UIAA ratings - look up this product on their website - it's listed with an active license. It's unfortunate that the packaging / product information doesn't mention this - it really shouldn't be up to the consumer to confirm, but at least it is rated / licensed. It would also be nice is the rope ends were tagged with the licenses and strength rating - I know it's not typically the norm on accessory cord like this but it would add some reassurance that this is in-fact certified to save your life in event of falls. ... show more
