I have recently started climbing trees and ordered this rope to go with several others that I have. I love this rope, holds knots really well and very flexible. It does catch a little in the crotch of trees with heavy bark but if you use a tree saver strap then this is a perfect rope.     • Rope sleeve slide binding the rope
the rope dose hold the knots well and overall the rope is decent. It is not to heavy or cumbersome. However the sleeve of the rope dose slide and stiffens and kinks the rope, making it difficult to use. The rope is advertised as an arborist climbing rope but when the rope is used in trees as SRT line that is when it is difficult to use. no matter what knot is used or a pursk not with pulley the rope is stiffens. I tried the blakes hitch or the tripple fisherman, the rope sleeve move oppisite to the direction of use seperarate form the core. Not only that,the knots being used become so tight that they do not slide in accordance to the srt tecnique. The color of the rope accents well with greenery found when climbing making it very appealing in my opinion. Though that is what caught my interest be very sure of what you use this rope because the ends are what seems to be machine cut then melted on both sides. I usually buy ropes that have the end weaved together to form a loop, but the value at that price makes it worth the extra care. The rope's durability suffers just slightly because there is no coating around the rope to keep it from snagging but still will last for years. ... show more

After considering many brands, I ordered this rope and it was delivered a day ahead of schedule! This is the best rope for the money. I needed some good ropes for securing and tying off overhead. Made some great collar ropes the whole crew envies, plus because of the length had enough to make a tag line and let up line. If you’re looking for a rope with almost no stretch and doesn’t milk on top of it this is the most durable rope I have found. ... show more

*edit* 3/25/23* after i posted this review, the seller contacted me about a refund. I accepted since the product was so bad. I received a full refund* 🚫This rope definitely milks. I do not recommend for climbing. It was supple and pliable before milking. After milking, the rope continually became stiffer, more rigid, hard to maneuver and hard to send to the next limb while in the tree and while suspended from it. We used it 2 days, once with a 100 kg all uscle (220lb) climber and once with a 72 kg (160 lb) climber. It milked both times but more so with the heavier climber. It became increasingly more difficult to move the Prusik up and down the rope and became more dangerous to climb with so we retired it to a tow rope. Do not recommend. We ended up cutting off a total of 4 feet of the jacket after milking on the second day. The length that had milked was 24" after a half-morning's use, i took it down and uploaded another video. The first day we used it it milked 10 feet, we had to cut that off. We were pissed! 😡 I can only upload one video per review according to Amazon's policy so i uploaded the one where the milking was the worst, it was the first time we used it. The rope continued to milk with use so we will not be using it to suspend any precious human lives. 👎 ... show more

    • Know what your buying before you buy
Used in tree work and around my far on daily basis so usually after a short time time ropes go south quickly. But I can say my buddy who still works with major tree company of 15 years use this product. Not to mention a neibor who tarps his hay uses this. And after 5 years of holding tarps on hay in our high winds and burtal sun exposure it's the only thing I I also use myself in every day applications af needs to trees and holding tarps on my hay. I'm beyond happy with results and preformance and will buy more anytime I have my life or others products of value to to protect ... show more
