Features

  • EFFICIENT THROW LINE PLACEMENT - Achieve accurate placement of climbing ropes in high or hard-to-reach trees with the Forester Arborist Throw Line Kit. Allows for quick repositioning without re-climbing, thanks to its durable 3/16" x 166ft braided polyester throw line.
  • ABRASION-RESISTANT, LOW MEMORY - Engineered with low memory to prevent kinks and tangles, for smooth deployment and retrieval. Its abrasion-resistant design provides superior longevity, even with repeated use.
  • HIGH-VISIBILITY, FRICTIONLESS PERFORMANCE - 166 feet of super slick, high-visibility line ensures your throws are easily trackable through dense branches and foliage. The line flies through the air with minimal friction, allowing for more precise throws.
  • ENHANCED SAFETY & TIME-SAVING - Install main climbing lines from the ground, reducing exposure to hazards and saving valuable time compared to traditional climbing methods for rope setup. Kit is compact and easy to carry - ideal for rugged fieldwork.
  • HEAVY DUTY ARBORIST THROW WEIGHT - Includes a 100% arborist throw bag for tree work (available in 9oz, 11oz, and 15oz weights). Designed with a nickel-plated ring for carrying the line over high branches.

  • Great for a first line up in the tree
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
Works well with the sling shot . Holds up well

  • Great product!
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
This thing did exactly what I needed it to and only took four tries to get it over a 25ft branch. I was throwing it by hand. I bought some Dyneema rope to use in the three to hoist an amatuer radio antenna up in there. Works like a charm!

  • Good for hanging rope
Style: 9oz Throw Weight
Good product, smooth rope tangle resistant, the weight and size is ample to throw or launch and slick enough not to get caught up in the branches.

  • Arborist throw bag and line
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
Aborist throw line is helping me install lights in trees using my arborist cannon I made. The weight is a nice size and heft so the line slides through the canopy nicely. The bag is starting to fray a bit. Hopefully it will last.

  • Worked fine, minor suggestions.
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
Throw line and weight worked as expected. I’m new to this, did manage to get the weight wrapped around a small limb when I pulled it up too fast to retrieve it, ended up using a weight bag from a rope saw kit which was not as nice. I’d suggest ordering two weight bags for this type of scenario. I would have liked some type of reel handle like on a fishing pole reel to rewind the throw line on the spool without adding twists to the line. ... show more

  • Excellent Excellent
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
Got into an old farm, have many many many trees that needed some help. Purchased this to assist- and glad I did. It really works well, and the biggest weight is perfect for yucking into tall trees. Pretty strong line as well, I'm about 190# and can lean on it pretty good without it stretching. The "Slick Line" part works well too, always makes it through the trees. I've been trying to think of something that would make it better, but everything works as it should, and thus, is a good value for the money. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Easier than trying to toss a heavy rope or network cable.
Style: 15oz Throw Weight
Works great. I used to run a network cable among trees and as a leader line for heavy rope, to pull down dead trees with a tractor. When pulling rather than just cutting, the direction of fall is rather predictable (just make sure that rope is plenty long).
