The throw line kits worked well. I was able to get about $1500 worth of work done with this and a double sided pull chainsaw chain with handles. It is a good weight, seems well made, and did exactly what was needed. I hung it up in a tree and it is there to this day. I am by no means an arborist but, this has served me well. I have done 5 trees so far that I had to use this on and it hasn't failed me once. Everything is well built and sturdy. I have pulled up some pretty heavy rope with this and not had one single issue. The string hasn't retained any memory so it's really easy to work with. I just grabbed and old amazon box and loosely spooled it in there when I got done with a job.

Used this item as a means to install amateur radio wire antennas in trees. I have been about to throw lines up to 55 feet easily. Haven't tried higher as there are no taller trees to test. Have had the weight fall onto pavement and concrete and has not split or damaged the bag. Found that with practice, the first throw is usually good with no repeats needed. I carry the kit in a 5-gallon bucket with loose line that easily threads out upon throws. Have not had the line get stuck on any of my attempts and quickly use it to thread Dacron rope up and into the tree. The kit is a good quality and after many uses it still looks like new.
