I found the perfect spot for it in the hallway and love it! I tried both daylight white bulbs and soft white. I think I'm going to switch them back to the soft light bulbs but either one is great. There is a similar product sold at a local home improvement store for twice the price so I thought I would try to save some money. This was a waste of time.
