On first assembly the ceramic tube rising out of base broke off and was glued back together with 'Monkey Glue' - not happy I mean the fountain was immediately dead on arrival. Do GREASE (vasiline) the threads of electrical and the water hose - the only way to slide water hoses together without the top ball banging fountain ceramic tube - breaking it, be bloody careful. I found best to set the base on a table and ball on another table to assemble. The fountain holds 1 gallon water to my guess. BASE of fountain is an 8" opening. Overall EASY to assemble and operate. My first thought was the pump rest in the open .. it goes inside the ball. The ball lights up and is beautiful at night. Even in the desert the 1 gallon seems to last almost a day until refill.

Love the look and sound of this fountain! Super happy with it but wishing the water receptacle had greater capacity. I live in the Southwest where it gets very hot this time of year, so I find myself having to refill the water every day, to prevent it from running too low or dry from the heat evaporation. One day I forgot to do so, and the fountain ran dry for a while before I figured out where the loud noise was coming from. The good news is the motor survived the dry run, so bonus points for that!

I love this fountain. The appearance is wonderful and the LED light illuminates the water. The only issue is the smaller reservoir for the water. Due to natural evaporation, the fountain needs to be filled 2x times a day if left running 12 hrs, which we have on a timer. Otherwise terrific!

We really enjoy this fountain it works great and looks great. Unfortunately five months after the installation the LED light went out.. I Thought this is going to be a pain ! But no the customer service was excellent.Two days after I E-mailed the manufacturer with my problem they responded and sent me a new LED assembly a total of five days down time.Everything fit and the fountain works great. --Outstanding customer service...

I previously ordered a four-tier fountain. While it looked nice and worked well, the sound of the water dripping inside the case was distracting to me. After a few weeks, it was clear that the dripping noise was too much, and we returned it. Enter this Glitzhome patio fountain. I call it a bubbler, as water doesn't spray up, it just bubbles through the top of the ball. It is sleek and simple, just right for me. There is very little water sound, maybe a tad too quiet, but I can hear the birds with this one. It sits under our four hummingbird feeders, and they seem to enjoy zooming over it. It has a small light atop the ball, which glows nicely at dark. All in all, I would recommend this fountain to anyone interested in a quiet design.

This is in an atrium just off my living room. Closed in on four sides but open on top to outside. The water reservoir is too small to last long. Refill was necessary, at most, every three days. And now IT isn’t working at all. Very poor quality.
