We had shopped around for a replacement fountain but didn't find anything locally equal to this quality and finish for this good price. We wanted a shallow fountain for smaller birds to safely use, but a design that would produce a loud enough, pleasant sound. Bonus feature is the center uplight that makes water appear to be a flame at night. Sadly, the blue color we received was Not the light turquoise color we ordered. The box was labeled the correct color but in reality it's more of a lapis lazuli blue with mauve strie all over - It was so unlike what I hoped for - it really looks like a big bruise! Some tree shadows help hide it as well as some new lantana shrubs in front. My husband was ready to get it installed and done. Thankfully we already had a level base to place it on and electricity run to the area. The fountain has a self-contained water supply so we need to refill it more often than previous fountain with its large, flush with ground reservoir. All in all, it does sound Beautiful and will help birds and butterflies in our extreme summer heat.

too bad - this looks great but we turned it off because everyone agreed it sounds like a running toilet - the trickle sound was not soothing - it gave us the urge to visit a restroom - at least we had a good laugh.

Received my fountain on Saturday and set it up without any issues at all the same day. Today is Monday and the fountain is just lovely. It is set up outside. and produces a soothing sound I've really been enjoying. My fountain is not producing any splashing. It's easy to add water. I do turn it off at night, but in the evening, with the fountain on, it's just wonderful. The light is working fine and adds a nice element. I am using it with an appropriate heavy duty extension cord and that's working just fine. I got the fountain in red and I'm really liking that it is ceramic. I can't think of anything negative to write about it. It's not a booming loud sort of fountain, but rather a gentle trickle kind of sound. So, if that's what you're looking for , you might enjoy this one. UPDATE: My fountain is still wonderful, but I do wish the pump were a little stronger. It continues to work but just seems a little more weak than when it was first plugged it. I've cleaned everything but that hasn't helped. Would love someone to recommend a step up pump. UPDATE #2:. One thing I've been doing that brings the flow back is taking a skinny bottle brush and going in from the top where the water comes out and plunging it down and pulling it out. Some debris always comes up. I do it several times, every so often. I've been leaving it on all the time lately. It's just working fine. I love it, and so does everyone else who comes in ear shot.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a larger stand-alone fountain for my backyard, so I splurged and bought the larger size of this fountain. After reading the reviews of other similar models that were poly-resin material, I decided to go with this ceramic one instead. Boy am I glad I did! It really is beautiful! There is zero splashing of water out of this fountain once you get it set up. You do need to be cautious when handling, as it is somewhat awkward to maneuver since it’s entirely ceramic and you need to be careful when setting it down on a hard surface. I highly recommend wearing gardening gloves to carry or move this fountain after you’ve added water, as it can be slippery with just your bare hands. When it’s time to clean it, I just carry it (lift it by the top-most spillway groove and the hole in the back where you access the hose and add water) to a grassy area on the lawn and lay it down so the water spills out the hole in the back. The fountain motor and cords are easy to assemble and disconnect/reassemble after cleaning. If you want a higher quality fountain that is a bit more expensive than Other models, you won’t be disappointed with your investment!

Really liked the fountain but the light had a strobe effect. Bought a different pump and it is much better without the light. Needed something on the lanai to mask occasional traffic noise and this has been great.
