This is my second Glitzhome vase fountain. In March this year we had straight line winds come through our neighborhood and my fountain of 2 years fell over and cracked. I had emptied all the water for winter so it was not very heavy to stand up to these winds that had knocked down power lines, fences and took off roofing. I recently decided to try another brand and look for a change. After reading all the reviews it sounded good. Unfortunately it had no water sound at all so I returned it and decided to order another Glitzhome fountain which I knew had great sound, was long lasting and a beautiful color. The fountain came well packaged and was so easy to set up and after adding 2 gallons of distilled water it was off and running! This vase is a much deeper blue than my original and I love it too. I expect to have it for many years to come and this winter I will put it in a more sheltered spot on my patio. You will not be disappointed if you choose this fountain!

Received my fountain on Saturday and set it up without any issues at all the same day. Today is Monday and the fountain is just lovely. It is set up outside. and produces a soothing sound I've really been enjoying. My fountain is not producing any splashing. It's easy to add water. I do turn it off at night, but in the evening, with the fountain on, it's just wonderful. The light is working fine and adds a nice element. I am using it with an appropriate heavy duty extension cord and that's working just fine. I got the fountain in red and I'm really liking that it is ceramic. I can't think of anything negative to write about it. It's not a booming loud sort of fountain, but rather a gentle trickle kind of sound. So, if that's what you're looking for , you might enjoy this one. UPDATE: My fountain is still wonderful, but I do wish the pump were a little stronger. It continues to work but just seems a little more weak than when it was first plugged it. I've cleaned everything but that hasn't helped. Would love someone to recommend a step up pump. UPDATE #2:. One thing I've been doing that brings the flow back is taking a skinny bottle brush and going in from the top where the water comes out and plunging it down and pulling it out. Some debris always comes up. I do it several times, every so often. I've been leaving it on all the time lately. It's just working fine. I love it, and so does everyone else who comes in ear shot.

too bad - this looks great but we turned it off because everyone agreed it sounds like a running toilet - the trickle sound was not soothing - it gave us the urge to visit a restroom - at least we had a good laugh.

Looked all over locally for a vase or jug type of fountain for my covered porch. Yes, this fountain does sound like a running toilet BUT prior to buying this fountain I owned a wall water fountain that sounded like the same running toilet. I didn't take into account with this particular fountain that when the water is running INSIDE of a vase, yes it would not sound like a typical water fall. We added some river rocks and it seemed to help the running toilet sound a little bit. I like to listen to a fountain in person before I buy it because the sound is what I pay particular attention to but like I said nobody locally had a vase or jar fountain. All in all I do like this fountain. I have it on my small covered porch outside so hopefully the distilled water inside of it won't get dirty too fast. Very easy to assemble. Distilled water is important if you want a longer life to your fountain. Like I already said, I have owned numerous fountains and they all sound like a running toilet unless I want to have a landscaper install a huge water gushing fountain in my front yard for big bucks. Happy with this purchase. Hope it lasts, especially since I don't have it exposed to the outdoor elements in the yard, etc. UPDATE....I forgot to add that since this fountain does NOT have an off/on switch we purchased an outdoor wall outlet with a timer and remote control. Just plug it into any existent outdoor wall outlet and wella you have something that you can turn off/on from inside your home. The timer function is handy to. Very handy for Christmas outdoor Christmas lighting which is what normally use it for. We turn our fountain on only when we are sitting on our porch. This way it saves fountain life.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a larger stand-alone fountain for my backyard, so I splurged and bought the larger size of this fountain. After reading the reviews of other similar models that were poly-resin material, I decided to go with this ceramic one instead. Boy am I glad I did! It really is beautiful! There is zero splashing of water out of this fountain once you get it set up. You do need to be cautious when handling, as it is somewhat awkward to maneuver since it’s entirely ceramic and you need to be careful when setting it down on a hard surface. I highly recommend wearing gardening gloves to carry or move this fountain after you’ve added water, as it can be slippery with just your bare hands. When it’s time to clean it, I just carry it (lift it by the top-most spillway groove and the hole in the back where you access the hose and add water) to a grassy area on the lawn and lay it down so the water spills out the hole in the back. The fountain motor and cords are easy to assemble and disconnect/reassemble after cleaning. If you want a higher quality fountain that is a bit more expensive than Other models, you won’t be disappointed with your investment!

Fountain was obviously damaged and very poorly repaired but shipped out anyway. Box was in good condition and all packaging was intact. Bubble wrap all around it. Unwrapped it and saw multiple scratches and a big long gouge that were “repaired” with some type of blue compound that came off on my hand. Not acceptable condition for a new product! Contacted customer service for glitzhome and just got a voicemail. Instantly repackaged it and sent it back to Amazon. Would not trust this company again.
