Bought this bike (20 inches) for my son’s 5th birthday- I love it but most importantly he LOVES IT even more! The bike is very sturdy and of excellent quality. 21 gears with disc breaks and I was able to add training wheels given this is his first bike (a little bit of brainstorming to find a compatible training wheel kit + axle extender- all sold on Amazon) but I could not be happier. He rides it effortlessly because the gears allow him to find the best position for effortless pedaling. I agree that its perfectly fitted for 6+ age but he’s a big 5y/o and only touches the ground on his toes while standing over the bike but once he gets on, mo issues given training wheels have been added. Seat is plush to the feel (not hard as most kids bikes and can be easily adjusted. The handle bar can also be adjusted- front wheel is easily removed without tools because of the easy-release design. It remains to be seen how it holds up overtime but for now- all positives!! ... show more

I was very excited to get the Glerc 24 Inch Kids Bike for my child. The bike looked amazing in the pictures, and when it arrived, I have to say it is beautiful to look at. The colors and design really stand out. From an aesthetic point of view, it is exactly what I hoped for. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news stops. Right out of the box, the gears were put together very poorly. The rear derailleur and the front derailleur were completely off. They didn’t shift properly at all. On top of that, the rear tire was bent and wobbly. When the tire spins, the rear cassette gear also wobbles, which makes the whole bike unstable. When my child tried to ride it, the bike shook badly, making it unsafe. I decided to take it to a local bike shop, thinking maybe it just needed some adjustments. The bike mechanic looked it over and told me there were too many issues to make it worth fixing. He said it would require a lot of service time and several new parts. The total cost to get it riding safely would be close to buying a whole new bike. It’s very disappointing because the bike truly looks nice, but it simply doesn’t perform the way it should. I wish the factory assembly had been done properly, and the parts were straight and functional. Sadly, I cannot recommend this bike based on my experience. If you want something safe and ready to ride, you might be better off spending your money elsewhere. ... show more
