These fit my 75g tank perfectly. The glass is clear, the vendor says the glass is tempered and I presume it is. I hope so. The lid I'm replacing was broken by a medium-size house-cat jumping down on it from about 8 feet above (I have very high ceilings and a loft here.) He's untrainable, lol. Though, so am I. so there's that. The hinges are the usual plastic trash (sigh...), so the lifetime of the lid will be only a few years. Still, for the price, that's okay. I'm satisfied. Delivery was quick, dimensions were spot-on, fit was perfect. Assembly was very easy. All it involved was cutting the back plastic section to match my tank plumbing, then peeling some tape on the handles, then sticking them on where I wanted them. I did measure my tank very carefully as the vendor repeatedly tells us to do β and you should too. It'd be pretty easy to think you have the right lid ordered, when you don't. A little care up front might save you considerable angst. Highly recommended. Would buy again. Probably will *have* to buy again. Thanks, cat.

It was time to replace my 55 gal tank plastic lid. After carefully reviewing the products on Amazon, I found this lid to be the best option for price and quality. I love my new tank lid. It came in a small box all folded up. I took it out of the box and gave it time to climatize. It took very little time to mount the clear 3M adhesive handle, cut the 2β plastic strip for the fish tank accessories, and to mount the 2β strip to the rest of the lid. Now my tank is completely sealed and looks great with an addition of a 48β all natural light bar :>) My 55 gal tank lid consist of: β’ 2β wide clear plastic strip for accessories. Good scissors and utility knifes work well to cut the plastic with no stress marking. β’ 5β wide sheet of glass. β’ 4.5β wide sheet of glass which I used this side for the door. β’ Rounded, clear, 0.1β thick glass. Just the right thickness for this purpose. My con: β’ The 3M tape for the clear hands are OK but add a few drops of Super Glue. Tips: β’ Make sure to properly measure your tank lid opening. β’ Adhere the clear 3M lid hands with the βAM" logo facing out. Add a few drops of Super Glue on the dry lid and handle. β’ Make sure you give the lid time to climatize after receiving it. I read one review that the glass broke upon installing it on their fish tank. It is glass and should not be taken right off a freezing delivery truck and place on a warm fish tank.

Lid was great, really like the clear pieces in the middle connecting the two panels compared to the black, feel like the one panel may be a tad larger than the other three it's a little more snug buy doesn't compromise the purpose of it

The glass topper set came in the mail way sooner than I excepted it to, which is cool. It was very securely packed so there was no chance of damage. It was super easy to assemble even though the plastic connection pieces are made of a pretty stiff plastic which made it not sit 100% flat at first. Cutting the plastic section in the back to make room for the in/out flow tubes was a little tougher because of the stiff plastic but overall not that difficult. The glass pieces could be like .5 of an inch longer to fit my tank 100% perfectly, but thatβs nit-picky of me. :) This is a great product, works perfectly for my tank, and really helps curb the water evaporation.

Took several weeks to get. Fits perfect and looks great. Used the measuring guide they have to ensure perfect fit! Tried to purchase a glass top at several different aquarium specialties stores and their suppliers were out of stock. Very pleased with this top.

So the way to measure is in the video and I'll admit is a little confusing at first. I have a very funny shaped aquarium and I ordered the wrong size hoping that I could get it cut down in the area I live in. The seller contacted me and helped me through picking the right size for my aquarium which would have been the one closest to the measurements and it does wonderfully as there is a little lip all the way around the aquarium that it rests on not technically the opening itself.......hope that clears up any confusion.
