The candles beautiful amber glow and subtle flickering flame was so realistic I have to point out at least once a day the candles are battery operated. The remote control is easy to operate and has several options. I leave the candles on for 6 hrs per day M-F so I have to make a battery change once a week which can get a bit costly. I always thought that fake candles looked cheap, but I decided to give these a try. They’re actually really beautiful and look almost real, as long as you don’t get too close. The batteries go pretty fast.. I had them set to be on for 4 hours a day but after not even 3 weeks they were almost dead.. so I switched them to 2 hours a day to not burn through batteries so quickly. I'm very satisfied with this purchase! Was looking for something to jazz up our bathroom and it did just that. We have received so many complaints on our candles. My husband's Aunt came up to visit and she now wants to buy a set! Only thing I'm not satisfied with is the remote. Some of the functions don't seem to work, such as the dimming setting, and mode setting, timer works pretty well although I did notice when using the timer setting, the next day the candles would pop on without turning them on with remote, and as the batteries began to die the smaller candle started to flicker. As far the candles physically working I love them they were a real worthwhile purchase! ... show more
