Description

The SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker does more than just immerse you – it provides a strong connection to your music. With crisp audio free of distortions, you’ll hear every instrument on the track and nuance in the vocals. It doesn’t matter how the portable speaker is positioned: PositionIQ technology detects its orientation and ensures the best sound. The portable Bluetooth speaker is packed with exclusive technologies. The transducer offers clear sound and deep bass. Its digital signal processing technologies, proprietary code, and custom algorithms work together for ideal sound quality wherever you are. Really, wherever, since the SoundLink Flex is an IP67 waterproof speaker. Its exterior can handle falls, the coat won’t peel or flake, and it resists corrosion and UV light. It’s also easy to hold or store, and you can secure the outdoor speaker with its utility loop. Rigorously tested to meet an IP67 rating, the SoundLink Flex is waterproof. It floats, too, so it won’t sink if it falls off your boat. For added protection from dust and debris, the Bluetooth speaker is crafted and sealed with waterproof materials. Plus, to ensure it can travel with you, Bose subjected the outdoor speaker to water, temperature, and drop tests. These proved that it’s durable enough for anything. And its battery offers up to 12 hours of unplugged play time. The Bose Connect app lets you customize the portable speaker settings, update software, and more. If your phone isn’t nearby, press and hold a button on the IP67 waterproof speaker to access your phone’s Siri or Google Assistant. A built-in microphone means you can also take and make phone calls through the SoundLink Flex. It also connects to other Bluetooth devices within 30 feet for even bigger sound.

Fabulous Bluetooth Speaker
When the Bose SoundLink Flex was introduced in 2021, I was not particularly in the market for a bluetooth speaker. My little Sony speakers met most of my needs and still do situationally. Several months ago, however, I was again looking for an additional bluetooth speaker. My research started with the Bose SoundLink Micro, which I love but is again a situational speaker. After my research ruled out many other brands, and after asking no fewer than several dozen questions of a Bose representative via Facebook Messenger, I ordered a plate-full of crow along with a SoundLink Flex which was on sale. As a matter of full disclosure, I enjoy various genres of music. My natural hearing diminished and has thankfully been restored through bilateral cochlear implants. The cochlear sound differs from natural hearing, though both are similar. With that said, a speaker which produces premium audio quality is crucial. Other necessities are affordability, portability, durability, ruggedness and especially reasonable battery life. The Flex meets all of my needs and is my go-to speaker. The Soundlink Micro, Revolve Plus and Mini II SE speakers are likewise fabulous, but there is only one Flex. My only negative experience with the Flex was purchasing a couple from the Bose Refurbished Store. Fortunately, Bose has fixed the issues with these but henceforth, I will pay a few more bucks and purchase Bose speakers brand new. At present, I own four of these Flex speakers, one of each color variant. I rotate between these and may even consider purchasing a couple more when a bargain can be had. The Flex is lightweight, compact and delivers as advertised. Yes, I still use my other speakers situationally, but again, the Flex is my speaker of choice. Pairing to an iPhone and then the Bose connect app is easy, as is pairing 2 together for stereo. Most reviews speak glowingly of the Flex and for good reason. Plus if there is ever an issue, Bose will absolutely assist with servicing or replacing if need be. So if my review has helped any of you who may be wavering on the Flex, then it was worth every single typing tap. In this price range, the Flex is hands down the very best speaker available. ... show more

Great portable speaker
This little speaker easily connects to your device. Great tone and volume. It even lets you know when the battery is low and you need to connect to a charger.

Quality sound on the go.
This speaker has been around the country and used on the beach, the boat, the farm and places in between. Pros: great sound for its size, light weight, easy to connectivity, and powerful volume. Cons: battery life is long but often not long enough when spending the day on the water.

Boze speaker has excellent sound...
The sound quality is excellent. It'a nice size to carry with you. I've had this for a few years. I really like it. I would purchase this again.

Sounds GREAT, but carmine RED??
Ok, let me start out by saying I'm impressed with the sound (5 stars) coming out of this little thing! I had the JBL and it was ok, a little disappointing imo which is a good thing bc it led me to buy this. I've only had it a few hours but so far anything I've played has been clear and thumps pretty good, especially for it's size. I've had it almost full blast and heard it clearly from across the house (It gets LOUD). I didn't hear any distortion in what I was playing. So, the downside......I ordered the carmine and am considering sending it back for black or slate blue bc this "carmine" red is BROWN! Very unhappy with the color, but sound is awesome! I've had quite a few Bluetooth speakers and this one is by far the best. Takes approx 3 hrs to fully charge. Has no charge when you get it. You can listen to it while it's charging at least. I have a Google Pixel phone and had to install the app to get it to connect to my Bluetooth but so far that's not been an issue. It's got some weight to it, as in it feels solid built, not cheap. So far so good! ... show more

Practically indestructible. Great speaker
This speaker has been dropped, left in the rain and totally dirty on multiple occasions and has never given an issue.
