Suede Really? Who they trying to fool? Even after applying a suede waterproofing spray, this material is not suitable for a work environment. I came back from work my first day wearing them with what appears to be an oil stain and it won't come out. So one day and they don't look good. Suede is only suitable for dressing up, not work and I don't believe the video where it's showing them torching it without a scratch! Everyone knows suede burns. Okay I know Kevlar stops bullets from penetrating but I don't want to test it by stepping on a nail. The Velcro straps are not adjustable and when secured, very little of the Velcro actually contacts the opposite side so you can't actually snug them up. I received them with much of the stitching unraveling which required cutting off with toenail clippers. The sizing feels like I am wearing a size 10-1/2 but I ordered a 9 and I don't see any size marking on them. I kicked a door and it hurt my toes, probably due to my whole foot sliding forward rather than a defect. Overall, they are a bad fit, uncomfortable and not cleanable. Not recommended.

I have really bad feet, extremely high arches. I have a really hard time finding moderately comfortable shoes. The insoles leave a lot to be desired. However, with quality insoles, I can wear these with a measure of comfort during a 12 hour day. Downsides are: there is not enough toe room for thick insoles. Your toes will be worn raw along the back edge of the steel toe. I trimmed the custom insoles from the metatarsal forward, no more raw toes. The other downside is the Velcro loop material on the over the shoe flaps was worn out in about three months. Had to sew on new high quality Velcro loop material. If the Velcro loop material was replaced with something that lasts a lot longer, I would give these shoes a 5 star rating.

I think I got a used pair because the center elastic strap was cut off on one shoes and the velcro was ripping off. I didn’t like these and that’s probably because I like tie shoes. These never felt like the fit and the velcro strap was always coming off.
