The filter was considerably less expensive than the GE replacement filter. It doesn't leak and appears to filter the water like the GE. It installed OK, seemed to be a bit harder to get to slip into place.

The product works, and this is the cheapest deal I have found on amazon for them. We don't normally get water out of a fridge, and it was been way over due. But with family coming over for easter we thought maybe we would try and replace the filter. Long behold if you remove the filter you also don't get the ice feature now more so beware. This product is great and hopefully will last all year.

Took less than 1 minute to install. The most difficult piece was finding where the filter in the refrigerator is housed. I ordered the 3 pack which will last a year.

This item was much less expensive than ordering a filter direct from GE. The filter works fine in the refrigerator, and does not seem to have any compatibility problems with the GE software that monitors the use of the filter. I will definitely buy from this company again when I need a replacement filter for my GE refrigerator and, I will recommend this company to my neighbors in my 55+ community who all have GE appliances from the builder.
