I’ve had this rug for a considerable about of time . Not as thick as I wanted it to be but I still love it . For the last few months I’ve been hand cleaning it like every other week since I have a dog that likes to lay in it. It was getting darker in some places so this time I decided to take it to the laundromat. ** I knew that I wasn’t supposed to wash it. I read it multiple times. But I tried it still ** Washed and dried on delicate. Put it in a 4 load washer. Everything with the rug looked fine until I got home . When I laid it on the ground it wouldn’t lay flat anymore. Nothing super crazy . It just looks like someone might’ve dragged their foot on it. I say all this to say that I can deal w the minor flaw if that means I can wash and dry for $6 as opposed to taking it to a rug cleaner for $100. (Also my rug is underneath my bed so that makes it even more unnoticeable). ... show more

Absolutely loved the softness and size of this rug. It came folded inside a box but laid nicely upon unpacking and was sooo comfortable, fluffy and soft I laid on it for 10 minutes and didn't want to get up. I was sad I could not keep the rug because I bought it so big it overwhelmed the intended space, but my daughter gladly took it off my hands and it is her dog's favorite spot. I'm unable to speak to how easy it is to clean but the gray color is likely to hold up longer than a lighter one color tone rug. I did drop the rating on easy to clean because I have dogs that bring in pieces of grass & who knows what else that get stuck. I haven’t had to do more than vacuum yet, so I can’t tell you about that. For now, I dig out stuff I can find and then vacuum. Still, it’s great on the feet and comfortable. I do have large dogs so they can move the carpet some even with furniture on top. So every once in awhile I’ll get my foot caught where the carpet isn’t laying flat. Just be aware. ... show more
