We got this bed for a spare bedroom. It was pretty easy to assemble (I was able to do it by myself without any assistance). I'm generally fairly adept at assembly and did not have any trouble with this kit. That said, the instructions were not as straightforward as they could have been and I recall needing to look at the assembly and available pieces several times when attaching the back supports and headboard to each other. As for sturdiness, it's pretty solid, though it felt like there was a small amount of give in the frame, which was improved once an actual mattress was placed on it. Overall, as serviceable a bed as you would need in most cases and good value for the price.

I like that the frame really turned out to be sturdy. It was a pain in the ass to put together. But after I have up on the pictures and just used logic. All good. I would recommend for that extra spare room.

I struggled getting the upholstered panel installed in the headboard, but the rest went fine. This is a very sturdy bed. We switched from a bed frame with the bowed wooden slats to one that is rock solid. I much prefer this.

Got this bed frame and it’s just perfect! The mattress does slide off as there’s no indent or like anything to hold it but it’s beautiful and love the touch of wood. Love that is has a shelf so you can keep your necessities along side. Super easy to assemble too. Took me and my hubby just over an hour to get it done ☺️

Came in a compact box. The whole assembly took 2.5 hrs. The directions could have been a little bit more instructive. Had to refer the booklet multiple times. All in all, great product for a decent price.
