Had it a little over a month and when I turned it on one morning it blew right off the spigot. The ball valve came out and it was in three non-repairable pieces. The seller noticed my complaint and even though it was beyond the 30 day return period, the valve was replaced. I will upgrade my rating because of this. ... show more

Perfect hose, it is super flexible and the added valve on it is perfect when you need another way to shut off the water right by the end without relying on the sprayer attachment or shutting water off at the source. I use this to water plants in a greenhouse by connecting it to a submerged pump in a rain barrel and it is perfect since I can leave the pump running and stop the flow of water with just the hose! ... show more

bought two of these and finally gave up today and tossed them. Poor quality—both lasted only a few months before failing: first a seep, then a drip, then a drizzle, then a gush… and finally the trash. I’ve been buying on Amazon for years, and out of the eight Giraffe items I originally purchased (3 spray nozzles, 2 hose splitters, and 3 hoses), the only ones still in use are the 3 hoses—and even those are replacements. I use this hose for flushing my RV Tanks. With it's valve on the brass end it allows for easy water regulation. I even leave mine attached for long term stays since the valve closes in conjunction with a splitter at the spigot. Hose is rubbery not plastic and does not kink up easily.
