Good product and normally excellent customer service, however, the hose burst during second use. I sent picture and was told it would be replaced. This was on March 12.. after several follow up emails they finally said they were planning to send me another hose. Totally aggravated now as it looks like it will be a pain to replace. Love the product but this may be my last purchase . I have two of the water hoses and one electric cord both in retractable reels. Products were faulty but immediately a replacement was sent. And this people WILL NOT answer phone or return a call

I initially bought a 5/8ths purple stripe heavy duty hose. LOVED it - bragged on it even. I wanted more. I bought a few more and then stepped it up to the 3/4" hose. It was not as heavy as I thought it would be and it is probably my favorite of out of all the hoses that I own. I had one defective purple stripe hose nozzle come off from the hose and the cust. service dept took care of that by sending me a new one. I hated to bash a company that makes such a good product on one mishap. I then ordered the ORANGE Nozzle new version and liked the convenience of tightening a bit easier, but I liked the weight and reinforcement that was in my purple Giraffe hoses more. I have only had the orange one for a few days so have not given it a good test. I have about six hoses from this company and you really won't want to buy anything else after owning one of these!

The hose performed great with no kinking, but developed a pinhole leak 3-4 months after purchase. It had a 2 year warranty and Giraffe Tools was very responsive about replacing it. Unfortunately that model (3/4" 25') was not available, but after asking if it was acceptable to me, they sent a 5/8" 25' hose that se.ems of similar built quality.
