This is a very nice quality hose and well worth the money, in my opinion. We tend to go for a higher quality hose anyway as we have many set up in different areas and we don't want the hassle of switching out cheap one that have failed each season. Many of ours are drained out but left in place through the winter so they get put through some stress. This hose really feels like is up to the task. It feels tough and well made, but it's also light enough to move around easily. The spray nozzle seems decent, although we may just continue using the one we already have. It does come with some spare "O" rings, though so they are being helpful. The hose is braided and some tough-feeling polyester, i guess. It flexes easily which is nice when you are on the move. The big plus is the no-kink style, which is the only type we buy any more. Good value quality hose and you won't feel like you got hosed buying this.... ;-)

Nice machined (not thin sheet metal) brass fittings on each end, with kink-protector at each end. Hose seems unlikely to kink along its length with reasonable care. The sprayer is adjustable with multiple (jet, cone, etc.) types of spray and fits my hand nicely; perhaps it would not be a good fit if you have very large hands. Box says 2-yr warranty but there was no warranty card. The rubber washers were included but no spare (you should keep spares anyway). Manufacturer says "light weight" but this is more sturdily built than a truly light weight hose, and hence it weighs a sturdy 2 kg (4.4 pounds). Recommended, would buy again.

We are expanding our garden and need much longer hoses. I acquired this one for that purpose and as a hose it works great. When I unboxed it, it was coiled in a plastic bag. I took it out of the bag and put in the garage. The next morning, the garage reeked. At first we thought something had died in there and then discovered it was the hose. I moved it to sit in the sun in the backyard and within a couple of days the small had dissipated. Do not open this in your house unless you are prepared to immediately take it outside. The hose does not kink, as promised. It also expands in diameter when the water is cranked all the way up so it carries more water than I expected from how it looks. It does not increase in length, just diameter (and not a huge amount but it is noticeable). It coils nicely after use. It comes with a mostly plastic spray nozzle. The nozzle works OK and has nine different settings (If I use it, I will probably only use two or three). But I f,ound that even with a brand-new O-ring, it still leaked from where it was attached to the hose. I may try replacing it with a different, more flexible O-ring to see if that solves that issue. I will probably stick with my trusty mostly metal nozzle that I have had for a long time and keep this as a spare.

The Good: -Quality construction -Expandable design saves space -Brass fittings -Includes extra washers The OK: -Included all plastic sprayer (not as good as brass but it’s still really good) The Bad: -Nothing This hose set is one of the better ones I’ve picked up over the years. The components are all high quality and the mesh cover feels good in the hand. It’s an expandable design so it will dilate when full more than a normal hose but that saves you space. It includes extra washers which can resolve most connection leak issues if replaced regularly and a sprayer head. The sprayer head is made almost entirely of plastic but is actually built pretty well. They could have at least made the nozzles brass but it really does the job for an extra. Feel like the value is higher than most of what you’d see in this price range and it’s a great choice for a new hose.

I'd been using old style rubber hoses for my entire life. I wish I had joined the 21st century sooner! This hose is light, it doesn't kink, and it's easy to roll up. I love that it shrinks when the water supply is turned off so it's even more compact when stored. The spray nozzle is nice and has a lots of differnt patterns. I'm a convert to these fabric wrapped hoses!

This water hose has a nice thick outer layer of material that prevents it from being kinked up. It is able to withstand 600psi yet lightweight! I am looking forward to Spring season when I can use this hose to the fullest extent of my property.

I bought this hose to place on a 4 wheeled Giraffe hose reel. I liked that Giraffe Tool Co. is an American company with well designed products. This hose was made in china and kinked so severely after mounted on the reel that water will not flow through the hose. I’m uncertain about the durability of this product. I’m searching for a kinkless extension to allow the hose to mount the reel properly.

This is a good lightweight hose. It seems well made. It has a pvc inner layer to prevent blowouts and the combination of layers makes it more durable in the elements and helps prevent kinks. It has nice metal fittings and they even give you extra washers which is nice. I like the 9 spray nozzle and 50ft length. It’s perfect for my patio area and all my plants with different watering requirements.
