Just as the description says. It fits perfectly over your machine, with a strap on each end that goes under the cricut machine & sticks to the velcro on the back to hold it in place. I wish it was more sturdy, but it's flimsy, so be careful when removing it, everything in the pockets can fall out. I decided to fix that issue so it can be freestanding when I take it off and sit it to the side.

This cover fits perfect over my Cricut Maker 3. I do not transport my Maker, so I just needed something to keep the dust and fog hair off my machine. This is the perfect solution. It is NOT a carrying case, so do not purchase it with that job in mind. There are elastic straps on the bottom to hold the case in place and a handle at the top, which can be misleading, but I would not trust it as a carrying case for a heavy machine. It is lightweight and flimsy, but if you just need it to cover the machine, like I did, it’s a perfect product. It also has a space at the front to hold my extenders and tall tools. Overall, I would recommend it for the purpose mentioned.

I don't know why I thought the cover also serving as storage was a good idea. Every time you need to use the machine, you have to take the civet of which means you have to remove everything you have stored in the pockets. I wanted the idea to work but it just doesn't. Unless you don't mind taking everything out each time... as a cover, it works perfect and I love the straps.

The dust cover was very thin. It came in a vacuum packed bag and had very deep wrinkles. The directions said to leave it out. Left it out for 3 days and the wrinkles didn’t get any better so I returned it.
