Features

  • GINCHAIN Universal TGarage Door Bottom Weatherproof Seal and Pre-Drilled Retainer Kit. Easy installation, great for steel or wood roll up doors. This retainer can be used in the bottom of many sliding doors, entry doors and other types of garage doors
  • Garage Door Weather stripping & Accessories: The package includes 3 x 3.35 ft T sandblasting aluminum retainer track (totally 10Feet), 1 x 10-feet long U+O ring shape design weather seal, 1 x screw kit. The rails and seals are longer than the data length to ensure you have more room for adjustment and you can cut the length as needed
  • Upgraded Performance: On the basis of the traditional garage seal, adjusted the size of the seal slot to make the installation process easier, U+O ring shape design can better block dust and garbage from entering the garage. Use EPDM rubber instead of PVC for better processability, low temperature properties and compression. Guard your garage at all times, even in extreme temperature conditions (-40 to 240F)
  • Installation Tips: Cleaning the bottom of the garage door before starting the installation, pre-drill rail can be easily fixed to the bottom of the garage door with screws. Applying detergent when installing the rubber seal will make it easier to install
  • About Rubber: Rubber seals may harden at low temperatures, making installation difficult. Soak in hot water (150F-180F) for 1-3 minutes to soften and restore original shape

  • Easy to install seal
Size: 16 Feet Color: Track Kit(1-5/8" Width)
Product arrived as described, rails intact and undamaged, plenty of screws (with extra) for install. The rubber seal felt suitably robust. Time will tell re: durability. Rails were a little long for my garage door but cut down pretty easily with a hacksaw. Make sure your garage door is safely off or supported so it won't crash down on you during install! Remove the old seal and clean the bottom of the door (just used a brush to brush off dust and debris). Taped rails onto the bottom of the door (used painters tape) to align and pre-drill holes. MAKE SURE THE RAILS ARE LINED UP! You don't want them offset - will make seal install more difficult if it catches during install. Permanently attached with supplied screws (hand tightened) with no issues. Toughest part was getting the seal to slide into the rail. I decided to cut the seal to size after install to be sure of length, but you can cut before install I guess - would likely be a much cleaner cut than I was able to manage after the fact. Garage door bottom should be at a comfortable height for this next part, I suggest somewhere between elbow and shoulder height. Supplied instructions mention a few drops of soap in water to help lube the track - luckily I had a spray bottle of dilute soapy water from a previous project. This really made this part much easier! Liberally spray the rail and the seal (both sides!) as you go, and make sure you guide the seal at the insertion site. Instructions say to guide it straight about a foot from rail edge, but I didn't have that room. Guiding it in with your hand at the edge of the rail is a necessity. It can flex/bunch up a little and catch at the rail edge stopping the seal from going in. A second pair of hands will definitely help; even a little bit of coordinated extra tugging or pushing from the far end will help greatly (wife or kid will be sufficient, coordination is key)! Seal is much more secure than the old foam seal previously stabled to the bottom of my garage door. TLDR: good quality rails and seal, straightforward install. Will update if there is early failure. ... show more

  • Garage weather trim
Size: 16 Feet Color: Track Kit(1-5/8" Width)
Good and easy to install

  • Good product
Size: 16 Feet Color: 5/32" Bead- End
Highly recommend doing this on a warm summer day. The product will be softer and easier to manipulate when feeding it into the slots. Easier to install if you have another set of hands pulling the strip while the other person is feeding it into the runners. Highly recommend using WD40 White lithium to lube up the tracks prior to sliding the stripping in. The Wayne dalton shaped ends could have been bigger in size to fit better in the slots. I felt they could be pulled out way too easily. ... show more

  • Fits nicely

Easy to install. Provides a good seal. Ability to be determined. Hopefully will last at least 5 yrs.

  • A little lube and it slides right in
Size: 16 Feet Color: 5/32" Bead- End
Worked great! A little bit of WD40 and she slid right in. I do recommend taking a wire brush to the track before your start, it had quite a bit of buildup on it. I then put steel wool in the ends to stop anything from getting in. As a reminder you will likely need to adjust your door if yours was a dead as my last one ... show more

  • Make sure it’s the right size and this will provide a great seal for the bottom of the garage door.
Size: 20 Feet Color: 5/16" T- End
Honestly, I ended up having the garage door service guy come to install it because my installation didn’t work. It has been perfect ever since and this seal is a very good quality. You have to make sure to get the correct size of the flange that slides into each side of the Bottom rails of your garage door. ... show more

  • Extremly easy to install but
Size: 16 Feet Color: Track Kit(1-1/4" Width)
Extremely easy to install but I still have a gap. I figured it would have a little more give in the rubber to flatten out on high point to close the gap on low points in the concrete but not the case. I have a 1/4 inch drop on the right and left side of the garage opening and the door won't go down any further. I need to come up with a solution. ... show more

  • This seal was soft and bendy making it easier than others to install
Size: 10 Feet Color: 5/16" T- End
If you are like me and looked at a dozen of these listings and can’t decide then I’d say buy this one! There is another one that looks the same for a similar price called DGSL that is currently the #1 seller on Amazon but I would say avoid that one. I bought that one off Amazon three years ago and it took me 3 hours to install because it was constantly snagging. But it did eventually work. Three years later and it has cracked and hardened. I bought it again and spent over three hours and it would not get past half my small garage door even with a ton of silicone spray. My wife helped this time and you can tell part of the issue was how stiff the rubber was. It could barely bend. I eventually returned it and got this one. Right out the box you can see a big difference. The rubber weighs the same but it’s darker and smoother and very malleable and bendy. I ended up soaking it in a bucket of hot water for 15 minutes anyway to get it even softer. This one slid on immediately with just soapy water. Every foot or so we reapplied soap to the tube itself in addition to the track and it would slide in another foot without issue. Practically finished in 30 mins except my track was pinched so I pried it out a bit with a flathead screwdriver and that eventually fixed it. One hour total but we took our time since we didn’t want to risk tearing it. Totally recommend this one over the other top seller. The rubber felt newer like it wasn’t sitting in a warehouse for a few years. So glad I switched brands. Tip, leave a bit on each end sticking out as much as you can without scraping the track. It will shrink over time as it gets colder so you don’t want to end up with a seal that leaves a hole on one side. That happened to me 3 years ago. I was pulling on that one so much it must have stretched out the tube and it slowly retracted after a few months. By the fall that seal was short one inch on the right hand side and it wasn’t chewed on by rodents or anything. But water was getting in from there. Also make sure you buy one of those rubber floor seals for the garage too. You need construction sealant to glue it to the floor but the rubber on rubber seal keeps the water and cold air out better. ... show more
