  • Great door seal
Size: 16.5 Feet Color: Raised Channel Track
So easy to install. Looks fantastic and what a difference in sealing off garage door

  • Easy to install seal
Size: 16.5 Feet Color: Flat Track
Product arrived as described, rails intact and undamaged, plenty of screws (with extra) for install. The rubber seal felt suitably robust. Time will tell re: durability. Rails were a little long for my garage door but cut down pretty easily with a hacksaw. Make sure your garage door is safely off or supported so it won't crash down on you during install! Remove the old seal and clean the bottom of the door (just used a brush to brush off dust and debris). Taped rails onto the bottom of the door (used painters tape) to align and pre-drill holes. MAKE SURE THE RAILS ARE LINED UP! You don't want them offset - will make seal install more difficult if it catches during install. Permanently attached with supplied screws (hand tightened) with no issues. Toughest part was getting the seal to slide into the rail. I decided to cut the seal to size after install to be sure of length, but you can cut before install I guess - would likely be a much cleaner cut than I was able to manage after the fact. Garage door bottom should be at a comfortable height for this next part, I suggest somewhere between elbow and shoulder height. Supplied instructions mention a few drops of soap in water to help lube the track - luckily I had a spray bottle of dilute soapy water from a previous project. This really made this part much easier! Liberally spray the rail and the seal (both sides!) as you go, and make sure you guide the seal at the insertion site. Instructions say to guide it straight about a foot from rail edge, but I didn't have that room. Guiding it in with your hand at the edge of the rail is a necessity. It can flex/bunch up a little and catch at the rail edge stopping the seal from going in. A second pair of hands will definitely help; even a little bit of coordinated extra tugging or pushing from the far end will help greatly (wife or kid will be sufficient, coordination is key)! Seal is much more secure than the old foam seal previously stabled to the bottom of my garage door. TLDR: good quality rails and seal, straightforward install. Will update if there is early failure. ... show more

  • Seals bottom of roll up doors
Size: 16.5 Feet Color: Flat Track
Easy install. Seals out rain and mice. Replaced weather seal at bottom of roll up door on 50 yr old warehouse. Old ones were shot. Easy install of track with provided screws. Suggest having a second person for feeding rubber part into track. While doing alone, it was push in 6" or so at a time and then go pull at the other end, even with using soapy water to lube. Got off track and was difficult to get back in, hence 4 stars. ... show more

  • Great fit and easy to install with current track.
Size: 10 Feet Color: Flat Track
I installed this during the winter which was not as difficult as I thought it would be. Make sure to clean the track after removing the old one and apply a little grease, spray or light oil just to get it started. My door is in a tight spot and with the cold I did not have a perfectly straight slide on experience, so it took me a bit longer to get it sliding with ease. After about 6 inches it was so simple to slide the rest of the way and was easy to cut with scissors for the perfect fit. The garage door closed with a solid seal and kept the cold out with this strip. I recommend this especially if you have a tight fit to the wall because it was easy to bend and pull at the same time. ... show more

  • Ease of installation
Size: 10 Feet Color: Flat Track
Install was very DIY easy and only took about 30 mins. Really makes Garage door much more attractive and also seals up well. Used a normal hacksaw to get last section to the right length.

  • Seal is great, included screws are sucky
Size: 16.5 Feet Color: Raised Channel Track
Installation was easy and everything seems of good quality but the screws. The ones that are included will not tighten up completely, meaning that the retainer won’t attach firmly to the bottom of the garage door. I’m going to have to remove the seal and replace the screws.

  • A tight seal and yes, DIY-able.
Size: 16.5 Feet Color: Flat Track
Bought for my son who is a new homeowner learning to DIY around the house. He uses his garage as his home-office and was able to put this seal in place with just a little help from his wife. The garage door is much larger than the box length but he then saw that it came in pieces and actually since the metal was in parts, much easier to handle and make fit. The rubber seal itself had to be left on the driveway for an hour or so to soften and make easier to slide into place, so I would not recommend you do this in winter unless you can take the rubber to the inside heat for a day or so, but otherwise, it's flexible even if that is not an option. This is what your looking for. His office is now sealed away from bugs and crawly things. ... show more
