This product is sturdy and works as expected. It fits my Ronin S perfectly. It adds plenty of extension to get really nice high up views. Great when you need to simulate drone shots using a gimbal.

this model was a bit cheaper than others. i think because the description did not say it had a screw mount at bottom to accept the ronin tripod. it does.

    • It mounts off center to your gimbal handle.
I originally bought this to use on my FeiyuTech A2000c Gimbal but decided against it because it just felt too lightweight. I also didn’t like the way it mounted off center to my gimbal. I did, however find a really good use for it on my carbon fiber camera tripod. I screwed it on to the center column and will mount my camera gimbal on it so that I don’t have to extend the legs all the way out to meet the right height. I’m waiting on the 1/4” to 3/8” adapters I need to mount the gimbal to this extension pole. The carbon fiber pattern matches my tripod perfectly. I should explain my tripod doesn’t have a crank that raises the center column. Instead I have an adjustable bowl mount like you can mount a sniper rifle to that allows me to adjust my horizontal level even on uneven terrain without having to adjust each leg separately. In order to get the camera to the right height I have to extend the legs. With the extension pole mounted that’s no longer an issue. I only have to extend the section that are attached to the feet of the tripod to get the right height without extending the other two sections on each leg. Nice. ... show more
