This quad is so much fun to fly. Indoors and outdoors. This is my first drone, and it’s a blast. Very user friendly. I got it to practice flying for a larger drone that’s on the way. If you’re new, I recommend that you don’t use assisted takeoff or landing or headless mode. I haven’t needed it and it’s made me a better pilot. I can get a full charge in about 30-40 minutes with my computer and it flies 5-7 minutes, even outdoors on fastest setting. It’s still day one, I’ve flown it probably 7 times already. I’ll update if things go bad, but I’m impressed thus far. this is the best quadcopter i have used at this size . it is lot of fun using this indoor or outdoor . the quality the remote controller and the drone it self is so different and hight quality believe me you will love it . it doesn't come with a video camera so that is the down side of it . other than that for fun with a full charge battery can fly this quadcopter for 10 to 15 mins . as this is from a famous brad ..it is so easy to purchase the replacement parts .

I bought this DIY kit to teach my younger nephew about building and flying a drone. He was able to put it together but not without some help from me. From my end, the instructions were clear and able to put together in about 15 minutes. Flight instructions were also clear and this drone can definitely fly! It's also very durable, especially once you install the propeller guards around all four. He's crashed it plenty but everytime, it is able to fly again. Because of this, he's able to learn and he's definitely getting better. Overall I'm very impressed with this kit and highly recommend it. I'm sure once he outgrows this one, we're onto the next challenge.

The drone is easy to assemble, and my son was happy with drone performance for the first couple of days. It was one of his fastest mini-drones and ran relatively quietly. Unfortunately, after assembling on Christmas Eve and playing with drone for a couple of days, one of the motors has stopped function. (The LED for that rotor is still working, though.) Seems like a waste of money if motors lasts a matter of a few hours before failing. Also, make sure you read the listed items included in the box. This drone does NOT come with a camera.

Very basic drone . Assembly instructions were poor and written in tiny text. Purchased this as a way to teach my 6 year old grandson about drones but would not buy again.

The drone has a lot of features, it is aimed at beginners or experienced people, we only used it twice in two days. So far, it is a good drone, and while we are still learning how to properly control it, it seems to be a reasonable price.

We are thrilled with this purchase! Our 10 year old daughter had never had a drone before and loves anything she can build herself. This was amazing! She put it together, with a little assistance, and has enjoyed flying it all around ever since. She practices flying it between spaces, flips, and creative landings... like on our immobile ceiling fan paddles. She has a blast! And when we contacted the seller with a question, the response was immediate and so helpful! We are really impressed! And we will look for more products from them in the future! Great quality drone and Great customer service!!!

My daughter enjoyed learning how to fly it, she was super excited to build it and get it going, and it work for the most part. It was expected to get a broken blade here or there, so that wasnt an issue at all, 8 y/o flying it after all. The motors did not operate at the same speeds and would strongly drift when inside a building or outside in calm weather. 2 of the motors after minimal use would always get super hot to the touch, and one eventually seized up entirely and simply wouldn't turn on. The blade would rotate manually without any resistance, but after the motor cooked itself, it just wouldn't operate beyond that point. Pros: Easy to assemble Easy to use Decent price point Cons: Weak battery life. (Could charge it for a few hours and might last for less than 5 min of active flying before it couldnt even maintain itself in the air or take off.) Inconsistent motor speeds causing strong drifting. Motors overheating/burning out.

Our 8-year-old daughter was wanting a DIY drone and this fit the bill perfectly - she was able to assemble the drone with very little assistance and after a few days has gotten quite good at flying it. Then, when she later broke the wire leading to one of the motors, a quick email to GILOBABY with our original order number had a replacement headed our way.
