I have 5 boxes of these, enough to completely encircle 3 sides of my home's walkway/shrubbery beds (6 feet between lights). These all all metal with glass globes, really easy to assemble and install. Of equal importance to me is the color, a robust bronze finish which complements the color of my brick (house girdle and front porch) and siding. They produce a moderately bright pattern of light for about 6-8 hours, I'm sure once the seasons progress into later spring/summer, their exposure to more sunlight will yield longer light display times. All in all, these are very nice pathway/shrubbery lights. I would purchase them again. UPDATE 03/29: They've been deployed in bright (March) sunshine for several days now. The sun sets at approximately 7pm (Eastern DST) and when I get up at 5am in the morning they're still brightly shining. So, at least 10 hours (and likely more) of long light display. These lanterns are very attractive and well made. I have only used them for 3 weeks so I don’t know about durability. The only reason I’m not really impressed is that the light is not very bright as the light is scattered around by the glass design. However some people may prefer this look.

I am so, so happy with these garden lights! You never know for sure what you will find when you open a package, but let me put your mind at rest...these were perfect. I was pleased to open the package and find them packaged neatly and with support to keep them from being damaged if they got jostled during ahipping. I eagerly unwrapped them to discover that they are bronze rather than the usual black. (Somehow I missed that detail!) The soft, warm glow of the light and the design of the frame remind me of quaint old street lamp post with a candle in it. I love the way the light is cast around and behind it. What a beautiful, unique addition to my flower beds. These lights were very simple to assemble, and feel like a good quality plastic and glass. Just be sure to turn the switch to on after you remove the tab protecting the battery! I wasn't looking for a switch, as this is a new feature for me from other garden lights I've had, but I like it. It means I can turn them off if I have an outdoor movie going, or want it totally dark to star gaze. I would definitely recommend these to others. ... show more

I love these lights !! They do need a full day of sun to work and last several hours, but they are beautiful when they have been charged by the sun. (see photos). I got mine for a ground deck and gazebo project that I completed this summer. The lights just added so much to the landscaping. I love them. Occasionally one may not be on and I will touch it and it pops on or spin the top off and adjust the battery. I think the battery may get loose, but no problems with any of the lights. I purchased two sets and attached them to the perimeter of my ground deck with Tiki torch clamps, and a few in the ground on the provided stakes. The lights I chose are a beautiful bronze finish and they are good quality glass inserts, not plastic. Very pleased with the quality and my purchase. ... show more

One came with a pretty good dent. Now, less than a week later, one light doesn't work. Hopefully, company will see this review and reply. Lights are not as bright as I expected, but that's okay. They emit a pretty design when lights are on. Nice size overall.

I have purchased about 50 of these lights over the past year for my entire yard. Originally, I was only going to do a specific area but these lights are very nice, with a soft warm yellow glow as opposed to a bright harsh light, so I ended up doing my entire yard with them. The light reflection on the ground is a very nice addition that people like and comment on. I ended up buying energizer rechargeable batteries after the originals because the energizers will last longer but you don't have to. The joy of doing that is then you can recharge the energizer rechargeable batteries yourself when there is little sun to recharge the lights in the winter so that the lights will be bright all year long. Customer service is amazing, responding to my request to replace some lights under warranty that weren't working when they were close to a year old. The company replied within a day and shipped out new ones to me within a week. I will definitely be purchasing from this company again. Recommend highly! ... show more

These are the best solar lights I've ever purchased. They are great quality and the reflections on the walkway are unique and lovely. One thing to keep in mind, however: These lights need 1 AA battery in each. They come with batteries out of the box, which is great, but they are cheap batteries. I was noticing after just 1 week that the lights weren't lasting long or shining as bright and when I asked customer service about it they suggested changing the batteries. I swapped out the batteries for quality rechargeable batteries and it made a world of difference! They are very bright now and last much longer through the night than they even did when I first got them. So I would suggest doing yourself a favor and put quality batteries in them from the start. ... show more
