It's a power supply, and in that regard it does very well. It does indeed supply power. My only gripe is that the Corsair power supply it replaced had far superior modular cables with nice, braided sheathing. I'm not sure how much I would have noticed without the direct comparison though.

AMD 5700 CPU,6800 GPU was an upgrade from stock power supply ( I bought a prebuilt and sold the parts I upgraded to friends ,I had some from starting a new build) I feel like if you game with current parts 1000w should be minimum.I've never had a gpu spike crash.

Works fine but it has a slight hum. I have an as500 plus and 4000d case fans running at stock speeds and the psu is louder than them. The cables are fairly easy to bend which is a plus.

Replaced an old rosewill PSU with this Aorus P750W. It runs quiet and works great. Currently powering a RTX 3080 build and it's doing the job. Took away one star because the cables have visible capacitors on the motherboard end of the cable, makes it look weird.

This is a bare minimum psu for native support of an atx 3.0 power supply that has a 600w 12+4 (16 pin) pin gpu cable. But you only get 1 cpu cable and 2 older type gpu cables. And those are 2 very disappointing deal breakers for a 1000w power supply at this price point.

If you need a strong (1200+ watt) power supply Gigabyte will serve you well. We use their 850 watt units for our "normal" builds and often will use the 900 watt silver for a little more power and still remain economic. Most of our builds are high-end so normally will will use the platinum/titanium ve
rsion of any brand PSU. This is one of the better high wattage units we have seen. Be careful with it as the PSU side of the main motherboard cable is unique to this unit and then merges into a "regular" 24 pin plug for your motherboard, so don't substitute a 24 pin cable you have laying around. One caveat - I would not recommend using anything below 16 Gauge cables for these higher wattage PSUs. Not every maker supplies that gauge cables as most will give you 18 gauge. I did notice with a 1600 watt Evga we just used those cables were 16 gauge. We often get custom length/color cables for our builds so it has not been much of an issue with us.
