  • Fits perfect. No leaks.
Fits perfect my chevy sonic 2013. You have to cut a little of the hose to get the size. The quality is 100% OEM. Fits perfect with No leaks.

  • The hose fits well, but try to make sure the hose is the only issue in the system.
The part is just fine, works good, easy to install, just considered the fact that is a little part (like a socket) that comes from the water valve and this hose is installed on it. So, if that "socket" is rotten/broken you have to to replace it as well since the adjacent part can be broken/fissured as well (so far I don't know if that socket is sold separately, but I'm sure it comes with the water valve outlet that for another reasons I changed), the hose is pressure installed there and fixed by a clip in the water valve. ... show more

  • It is not too short, you're missing a piece.
All the people complaining this doesn't fit are just mistaking the plastic connector that fits into the coolant inlet as part of the hose when it is not. You have to remove the old broken hose from the smallish piece, pulling off any broken/melted plastic bits from it and it will fit perfectly. Then you clip the metal clip to the mouthpiece, and the black clip to the hose. ... show more

  • Fit Like Glove
Straight forward hose replacement. The old one came off and the new one popped right on with no fitment issues at all. Only thing you have to do though, is make sure the old one is all the way off. On mine, a small rubber o-ring and a small plastic piece had to be removed from the bracket before it would seat properly. ... show more

  • Fit is factory, just poor GM design
Factory part, leak stopped for now. Due to GM design relying on thin plastic parts the small nipple end that seals against a o-ring cracked and broke, causing a leak. Why they didn't just design with a hose barb and a slip over hose with a clamp I don't know?? I temporarily fixed this leak 6 months ago by cutting hose and adapting hose with plastic hose bushing over larger nipple this hose slides into. Worked just fine all that time. I just wanted to return car back to factory so ordered this replacement hose. ... show more

  • Seems to be good quality
The item is only the hose and fitting, no clamp on the other end that attached to the reservoir tank side so you have to reuse your clamp. If you don’t have that you’d need to purchase one. One issue I had was I could not get it to snap into the connector on the engine side and didn’t know a piece from the old hose fitting broke off inside the connection. At first I thought they sent me the wrong part. Luckily a person with the same issue posted a youtube video where he described he had to pull the broken piece out. I looked at my fitting, pushed the broken piece out with a screwdriver and then the new fitting connected fine. This was on a 2012 Chevy Cruze. In order to get to the broken piece you have to remove a clip, pull the fitting out and push the broken piece out. This is on the engine and not the hose. Careful when you do that because at the bottom there is an o-ring that helps prevent water from leaking so try not to move or remove it which I did by mistake. Water leaked but then I reseated it properly and it worked fine. Just sharing my experience and hopefully you don’t run into what happened to me. ... show more

  • I received Rev 005 and it looks the same as Rev 001. Still appears to be authentic GM
I bought this for a 2011 Cruze 1.4L. The original hose is Rev 001, and the one I got is Rev 005. I can't see anything different between the two hoses except for the different markings and numbers. They look the same to me. The opening sizes and shapes are the same. The new part appears to be an authentic GM part. Replacing the hose was very easy. I had coolant gush out of the top of the water outlet when I disconnected this hose. Next time, I would be prepared with a wet/dry vac or something to suck up the coolant. If you are changing the water outlet at the same time, you will not have this problem because your new water outlet won't have anything in it. This did not come with the hose clip that secures the hose to the surge tank. I just used the old one. ... show more

  • Used to Fix Broken Inlet Hose - Came faster than a GM Dealership Could Order
I had a leak in the end of my inlet hose- it turns out the plastic part was cracked. I tried to order this from a GM Dealership and it was on backorder and no way to know when it would be available. I looked online and found this. It was easy to install and this came the next day. Saved a lot of money and it's working. If you have a 2014 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L, this part will work for you. ... show more
