  • Great upgrade from a 3060ti
The AI frames aren't anywhere near as bad a I imagined. Games stay super responsive, and it genuinely feels like you're getting 30-40 fps for free. With cards being just stupid expensive right now, this is about as close as you can get to a bargain. The Nvidia auto-oc tool pushed the core up 100 Mhz, so a FPS or two for free, which I'll take. Cards massive. Love what they did with the extended heatpipes and fan for additional cooling. Seems to keep the card well below 80 c even when playing at 100% for long durations. 0 complaints there. Noise is almost negligible. She do kinda roar if you manually set em all to 100%. But they hardly ever break 50% in my experience. Yeah, killer card. Upgraded from a 3060ti, and man, you feel it. Been playing a lot of Oblivion, max settings 110-120 FPS all day. At 1440p. Have not tested 4k, but if you're really trying to game at 4k, you need to be looking at a 5080 minimum, 4090/5090 in reality. ... show more

  • It's not only for gaming
I didn't buy this for gaming. I needed it for my photo software (Lightroom). Without this card it took 20 minutes to use the noise reduction function for 1 photo. The time went down to 10 seconds with the card. I had to buy a new case and power supply because the card was too long to fit in my old case, and my old power supply was not adequate for higher end graphics cards. I suggest installing the drivers before installing the card. The new card didn't work at first, but I reinstalled the old card, downloaded the drivers, and then it worked perfectly. What I do doesn't stress the card the way gaming would, so I don't have any problems with fan noise. ... show more

  • Great performance
This card has ran new AAA titles with ease. Don't believe the negative nancy reviews on the 5070. With the latest drivers, it's running new games at 1440p on max settings. Getting over 100FPS in everything I've tried. Do know that this card is huge. It comes with a sag bracket and you will want to use it. The zero fan speed feature is nice. Do be aware that the RGB lighting on the fans only works when the fans are running. Makes sense, just something to point out. I've ran older games and noticed that the fans don't even spin up. Tells you that this GPU is a powerhouse. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good
Don't let negative videos fool you. This is a great card for 1440p. I do play older games but it holds up to new games really well too. Playing Doom The Dark Ages on higher settings is fast with no lag at all.

  • Great Performance Video Card!
Great card so far! This card is massive so make sure your computer case can accommodate it. It does have a cool feature where you can customize the light colors on the fans! It is a very simple install but here are some tips. - Make sure your GPU slot is compatible and that you have (2) PCI slots on the back on the case. - Make sure your power supply can accommodate this card as it is recommend to have a 750W or higher power supply. - It immediately started freezing up the computer until we changed the GPU slot to PCIE Gen 4.0. - I recommend that you install the manufacturers drivers for this video card. Note: This hard only had (1) HMDI connector on the back of the card and (3) DisplayPorts. Not a deal breaker but I'm surprised that they didn't have (2) of each port on the back of the card. ... show more

  • 5070 is fast and runs cool
Sons pc was running a 2080 but fans were blaring and it would thermal down performance from 230 fps down to 120 fps. This 5070 runs same test at 520 fps constant and the fans don't ramp up and stays cool.

  • Good for a new build
Works great, upgraded for a 1060 and this made it so I can play newer games. Great cost compared to others in its generation

  • Great card so far, massive improvement from my 3070
The graphics card works well and is an instant boost to my system that is starting to age out. I built my computer back in 2019 and have a 9th generation i9 processor in it. I can stand to add some other improvements to the system in the coming years to improve the performance further, but for now this card has increased my performance significantly. I had a little bit of trouble getting the support bracket installed on it but probably due to my own confusion and not because of the instructions. They were drawn with no written instructions. The card is quiet and I haven't seen any next temperature spikes. I know there's some discussion about melting of the power connectors on 50 series cards but haven't noticed any issues thus far. I only gave 4 stars mostly because it doesn't interface with my icue software for fan and lighting control and having to run additional software to control this is wasting system resources. I bought this card because it was a good price, and available, for an OC card. I'm getting smooth 120fps at 1440p in cyberpunk with 4x frame generation, performance dlss, path tracing and everything pretty much maxed out. I'm sure I could get better quality out of this at the cost of framerate. This is coming from a 3070 that struggled to get 60fps at 1080 with path tracing and some tweaks to use frame generation and lowered settings. I'm very pleased with my purchase. ... show more
