  • Easy on the eyes
Not looking to break any records. This works perfectly. One caveat: using an active DP to HDMI adapter results in some overscan, and it took me a bit to figure out how to change the screen dimension output for the Sony 43" XBR flatscreen I use as one of my monitors. Needed to upgrade from my Strix 580 OC because it was having trouble activating my main monitor, refusing to send a signal. ... show more

  • RTX 5050 Review
Insert the rock meme here: just kidding. I bought this in October for $250 @ MSRP and it cost me 2x how much I spent on my 1050 TI back in Summer of 2017. Was it worth it? Yes I'm happy with it the performance on the games I played was very good and it only consumes a little bit more power than my 1050 ti. The 5050 only requires a single 8pin PCIE connector which can draw up to 130W, 75W 1050 TI vs 130W RTX 5050. It also comes with 8GB VRAM compared to the 1050 TI which only had 4GB VRAM so RTX 5050 is double the amount!. For people who play at 1920x1080 it's a perfect entry-level card but if you want to play 1440p or maximum quality settings with Raytracing and stuff enabled I would recommend getting a 12GB or 16GB video card ... show more

  • Make sure you have room in your PC. :)
Very happy with my graphics card it has been a long time since I've upgraded my PC. I haven't played any video games yet to test the performance.

  • OK card; odd shipping
Card is working fine so far. Scary that it did not ship in a shipping box, arrived with labels stuck on the shrinkwrap! No apparent damage, so I installed it.

  • Works very well
It showed up well packaged and on time. No tricks needed to get it working. Just snap it in the PCI-E slot, screw it to the case, plug your 8 pin power cable in, and get going. As long as you have a Motherboard that's UEFI compatible and a 500 watt PSU, you're golden. As for performance, it's very capable of running modern games at 1080p with high textures along with limited ray tracing. Even while running demanding titles, I've hardly noticed any noise from the GPU. This is the high quality I expect from Gigabyte. ... show more

  • Died fast
Card worked great... until it didnt. Its dead now and thats from December to now. It started with randomly having to video out to complete failure in 2 weeks. The image quality was pretty, the speed was ok, 75fps in hogwarts legacy with the game's reccomended setpoints. But if you only get 3 months with the card why bother ... show more
