Okay, it looks like the 5090 Aorus Master reviews are getting mixed in with some other products so I want to make sure I do my part in reflecting how great this product is. Despite what some people claim, this card is super quiet and stays very cool. If it’s not that way for you, then your case is too small or your set up is wrong. The fact that this thing has a light that indicates if there is a power issue is a godsend nowadays amongst the 5090s. To get this sort of thing from another card, you have to pay an additional $800-$1000 and I’m talking about the overpriced Asus Astral 5090. The software for this thing is about as good as all the other software for graphic cards throughout history. But it’s approachable and it works. It doesn’t interfere with your other RGB stuff. This card tops at 65° during intense gaming and gets a little higher if I’m running a stress test. It usually runs much lower. It’s performance top notch and it comes out already clock tie. In fact, I’ve under bolted it. It’s just for fun and it works better in that circumstance. If you’re gonna get a 5090 this is one of the ones to look at for sure. ... show more

The box of your 5090 does not have any security tape, but the card is sealed by gigabyte security tape inside of a static safe bag. I bought a 5080 to start, but it just couldn’t drive my 240hz 4K AlienWare Monitor. The 5090 has the necessary power to run 4K graphics, and you have plenty of VRAM for everything you want to do. If you are gaming in 4K, don’t buy anything else but a 5090. The card was easy to install and it comes with a stand you screw in to keep it stable in your case. I would attach the power cable to the card before you install it in your case. If you have to use a lot of pressure, you don’t want to be pushing the video card down on your motherboard. Make sure there is no space between the power connector and the power cable. Both on the card and the power supply. ... show more

My GPU arrived dented and damaged. I looked closely, and the factory seal sticker on one of the screws had been tampered with. The GPU would not post on my PC. I tried every measure, and it would not work. I placed my old RTX 3090 into the PCIe slot, which posts just fine. For the money I'm paying, I should have gotten a better quality inspected GPU, but instead, I got a damaged and non-working GPU. I will be making a return on this GPU. Purchased this through Amazon (Shipped and Sold by Amazon) and had some concerns that it was supplied and sourced by a third party distributor aka "SUPPLIED BY OTHER", a detail which I didn't notice until after committing to the purchase. I actually tried to cancel my order because I felt extremely paranoid about learning about this, but wasn't able to cancel in time. Fortunately, the card was legitimate.     • Fan grinding noise if not supported in just the right way

The gigabyte fan shroud cannot bear the weight of the video card without flexing and causing fan noise. Sorry, but that's a laughable design issue. True, this won't affect sideways-mounted setups. But in a traditional PC tower, you need to be careful how you support it (support it from the corners is best). I have one of those motherboard-mounted GPU supports from my previous 4090. Using that alone, I got fan noise when the fans ramped up. It's because it tries to support it from a midpoint on the fan shroud, which is apparently a no-go. The fix is to buy one of those magnetic-telescoping gpu supports and add support in the corner. The chipset is a wonderful step up from the 4090. When fine-tuning LLMs, I see the full 30% speed boost, something like +50% memory bandwidth (which is awesome), and the 32GB is sadly the best I can really get without dumping in thousands. Side note: Pleasepleaseplease offer 64GB VRAM in the future at a price point normal people can afford!!! ... show more

Awesome card. Of course it’s expensive. But will hopefully last a very long time. I undervolted mine so it’s only drawing 400-410 watts of power under full load. With a slight overclock, it’s performing nearly identically to stock with much less power draw and cooler temps. I did remove the sliding gigabyte logo because it was causing a bit of a rattle.
