    • Haven't played games on it. Mostly does Folding@home. Works well but may not match reported mark.
This is supposed to be one of the more efficient graphic cards for folding@home. Certainly is the fastest one I have used. This one is shorter and should fit most cases. My case my hold 12 inch card, but I didn't want to stress anything. No problems getting it to run. Needed drivers , of course.

It doesn't have any fancy gamer lights to make me feel like it's more powerful than the non-RGB variants, but it's still a decent GPU. It came in the original packaging and included a split connector for the power cables. Make sure to run two separate cables from your GPU to the splitter to the GPU.

It said delivered, never had me sign. I thought I was out 800 bucks. But then 6 days later it showed up out of the blue, so better late than never I guess.

It barely fits and its one of the shorter ones out there so be mindful of size. I needed two cables to make this work best. I only had one open 8 pin and one open 6 pin so I needed a 6 pin to 8 pin converter. Bought for my son as he was playing Starfield on a 2k monitor using an old 1080ti on low settings. He states on auto, this 4070ti puts most settings on ultra and couple on high. His computer is a 12th gen Intel i7 rig w/ 32gigs of ram. His modular power supply came with a16 pin plug so he didn't have to use the provided adapter that came with the card. The back plate is quite worthy of mention. It doesn't sag at all. The only thing I'll take away from it is I didn't get a Dallas cowboy cheerleader calendar. Not a single poster. Haven’t used it yet in my build but I’m sure it’s a beast. For an $800 price point it’s at the top of its class despite what the media tries to portray. Next step up is $1200-1400 and I’m not that rich. Will update soon

    • 12v power adapter is faulty and GPU constantly crash
This card comes with the 12v nvidia's split power cable adapter that takes two 8pin pcie power connectors from PSU and hooks into the card. This adapter is FAULTY. After installing, the PC ran fine for half hour until I closed up the PC case and flipped it vertically, then GPU lost power! Upon further investigating; wiggling this GPU 12v power adapter even slightly was enough to lose power. The soldering inside the adapter must be bad because every connector was plugged tight and clicked in. I put back my old GPU (GTX 980 TI) with the original power connectors and it was perfectly fine. This has caused the RTX 4070 Ti to restart several times in one day. It may or may not be the reason that when it did work; the GPU would always crash in Cyberpunk 2077 within 5 mins of gameplay... The card might be busted by this faulty adapter, or the card could also just be bad... Upon Googling, the 12v adapter issue apparently is widely known on the Internet. I should have been more skeptical when purchasing the RTX 40 series. Not sure if I want to keep the card... Older games run fine by they don't stress the card with ray tracing. The only reason I bought this card for is modern ray tracing games... ... show more
