The media could not be loaded. I’m going to hell for this. Phenomenal card though. Can take any load you throw at it in gaming or Stable Diffusion in 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K as long as you have a good enough CPU to avoid a bottleneck. Also, I recommend anyone looking to buy a 40 series card to wait until the 50 series comes out so you can see if it will reduce the prices of the 40 series. The 40 series is an embarrassment compared to previous generations unless you get a 4080 or 4090. If you’re working with AI and want to get a 40 series card, then the 4070 is the best balance of price, performance and efficiency. If you aren’t working with Stable Diffusion, then AMD GPUs are gonna be the better option. Just be aware of the crappy driver software that comes with AMD. Lastly, for the love of god, do not get a 4060 or ti. If 4060 ti is your max budget, then just go with the AMD RX 6800. GL ... show more

This was easy to install and a huge upgrade in performance for my photo and video editing. It seems a good price/performance balance for the 4xxx Series cards. The 4090 is very quick but expensive and needs a lot of power. This 4070 doesn’t draw much power by comparison, so I didn’t need to upgrade my power supply. I don’t use it for gaming, so I cannot add value to that. For photo and video editing, when work is offloaded to it, it is much faster than my MacBook Air M2 laptop. ... show more

It’s a bit pricier than most other 4070s, but that’s probably because it’s the best one. It has some cooling optimizations like an all copper heat sink and 3 90mm fans. It’s literally silent below around 50c and it’s still the quietest component when my pc is under load. The best thing about it is I haven’t noticed any coil noise at all. At first I got an ASUS Dual, but it had such loud coil noise I had to return it. This Gigabyte makes no electric noise whatsoever that I can tell, which would be a first for me for GPUs. Runs everything i throw at it, not that im a heavy gamer, but its miles ahead of my old 2060 super. And my renders go much faster now Doesnt get excessively hot, doesnt crash, stutter. It just works and works.

This baby weighs in at a whopping 2.6 pounds, you definitely need a support of some kind for it. The only weird thing about it, the bottom of the unit is kind of rounded, and the free corner you would put a support under....is angled up in some kind of artsy design and thus leaves you struggling to find a spot to put a support at. Your only option for a flat surface is between the fans. DO NOT UNDERMINE YOUR GPU WITH A WEAK CPU. This was my problem, I foolishly thought my system could handle this lovely beast, and my system could, but I only have a 10th gen cpu (10600k) and it bottlenecked the gpu, so the fans would kick on almost immediately, and that's never a good sign. So, make sure you have the processing power this baby needs to let it release the hounds. This is a beautiful card and you deserve to enjoy it's full potential. ... show more

Been using this for about a month now and very happy with the purchase. Getting really nice frame rates in very demanding games. My only :-( is no stickers. How are my friends gonna know I have this beefy video card if there's no sticker to put on my case? A video card should come with stickers. End of story. ... show more

Really goosed my 2019 mid-tower machine for gaming and Stable Diffusion local processing. My desktop was well specced for its time, with a Core i9 CPU and 32MB RAM, but the RTX 2070 8GB wasn't cutting it any more.
