The new 1080 p gaming champ
Wanted an upgrade for my aging GTX 780 card. For what I was looking for (GDDR6 card from Nvidia for 1080p gaming) this seemed to be the best bang for the buck. PROS: Runs cool and quiet. Does not draw as much power as my old card. Only uses one 8 pin power connector. Handles everything I have thrown at it running at 1080p on high to ultra settings. Decent size - is actually a somewhat compact 2 slot card and nothing more, does not try to take up a 3rd slot like some other cards do. Does not block or cover any ports or connections on ASRock B450m Steel Legend. Nice backplate even if it's not metal. CONS: AORUS Software for overclocking and monitoring the card is just meh. Downloaded it from Gigabyte website and had to install, uninstall, and reinstall it twice to get it to actually work. Now that I have it working I just don't find it very user friendly or intuitive at all. Thankfully I don't plan on overclocking it. Backplate is not metal. SUMMARY: I love this card. Well made and runs like a champ right out of the box. Could have spent about 100 bucks more for ray tracing and at some point I probably will. Hopefully after the RTX 3000 series cards are released more games will support ray tracing, and prices will come down a bit. While I bought this as something to hold me over until then, I think I will be using it for quite a while. ... show more

Card's pretty good.
Card is really good don't really think you would even need the 3 fan one. I upgraded from a radeon hd 7950 that was overclocked. Definitly did a big difference. The 1660 super though is like a gtx 1070 if you overclock it. Overclocking on this card is EXTREMLY easy. I was able to bump my core clock to 2100 mhz and my memory clock to 500 more mhz forgot what memory speed I'm running it at. But anyways I only had to increase the power limit by 20%. The thing that I like about nvidia in general is that they don't pre overclock their cards and just say that's the speed their running at. ... show more

This was a great first-time build, card
Based on the reviews, the specs, and the price, we went with this graphics card. This was my kids first time building a computer from the ground, up. This card was easy to install on to our Asus motherboard and lined up well with the case we got. We opted to not go with any additional cooling other than what comes with the GPU and CPU and despite the additional cooling, this machine runs really quiet. So far we were fortunate to snag GTA V for free (Thanks, EPIC) to really test it out and it runs really well. ... show more

Great value during the GPU crisis.
I snatched this at 2am in the morning in late 2020 for $250. At the time, it was practically a steal because was it has been performing like new with my 900p 85hz display.

Good graphics card.
This is the best card you can get under 300$. I think I got this one for around 260$. It's very quiet. I can play every game that I currently own. Pubg runs at about 130 - 140 frames on ultra settings. Every game I own defaults the graphics to ultra. Gears 5 runs perfect. If you're thinking about getting a card just for gaming, this is good. I was going to do the RX 5700 but it is 350$ and there were worse reviews. This card is perfectly fine for anyone looking to game. I trust it can stream well but I haven't tried it. ... show more

GTX 1660 super: worth it!!
From low settings with my GTX 560 ti to ultra on everything! Runs BF3 on ultra, runs 7 days to die on ultra, and my favorite, borderlands 3 on badass settings at 1080p with a benchmark of 60 fps. Worth every penny. Comes with 6gb of gddr6, and uses 4gb of the 16gb of system RAM essentially jumping it to 10gb of graphical RAM. It's an awesome addition to my system. ... show more

Godd boost in ability in a new build.
Bought this for a new build during the pandemic down time. It does to job well and posers 2 monitors with no strain. Now 4 years later may upgrade and put this in a build for my nephew.

perfect for my new system
I always try to find the best value for performance and without a doubt this card delivers. Out of the box it destroyed any AAA game I threw at it at 1080p 60, and most games at 1440p were playable. With a manual overclock I was able to push 1440p 60. $229 is almost a steal. Would 100% recommend this card to all users. ... show more
