I grew up in the early 2000`s, never had such a good Dell computer, but their built in graphic processor is not even close to good enough to support games now a days with their new fancy graphics. Mind you, my Dell Vostro 3670 desktop is worth 960$, at least when it came out, I looked and researched into dead-ends, I finally spoke to a co-worker who is a pro in computer gaming and he instructed me to buy this fine specimen. He also instructed me to buy a power supply 500 at least, I did both, installed and I am very very impressed I must say, even on older games such as Age of Empires 3, Ultima online (Yes I am 3,000 years old), counter strike, half-life, among other ones the graphics, speed and game playing experience significantly increased! Not to mention, I can now play GTA, Just cause 3, the long dark and many other good graphics zombie games, or survival games of today, again for beginners, you can`t go wrong. Easy to install, physically in mother board and also on the software program, simple. 5 stars.

I threw this into my Acer TC 895 UA92 and it's working beautifully without the need for a new power supply. Power runs through the PCI so there are no wires to worry about, just plug and play! I'm a casual so I can only say for certain that it allows me to play Fortnite and Genshin Impact beautifully on high settings. The PC already played Fortnite, albeit on low/mid settings, but it now plays on epic. Genshin Impact wouldn't even load up before, and now it plays on high settings with nary a sign of struggle. The only other thing I've done to this PC since buying it here on Amazon is upgrade to the max 32g ram via 2 16g ram sticks from Crucial.

I bought a refurbished HP Workstation Z420 that came with an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290. Everything was perfect with this machine except for this GARBAGE video card. So, I ordered this new card. It's friggin fantastic. All of the games I play, which is not many, and definitely not any of the new power hungry games that are out there, play extremely well with this card. In WoW I get a steady 90fps with everything turned up. That's pretty much the most intense game I have put this through. So far, it's been a fantastic card. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a decent gaming experience at a very budget friendly price.

I have an older HP tower with a good CPU (I7) but standard graphics (1 GB card), and a 320 watt power supply. I play mostly Arma 3, Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster, Civ VI. I also use my HP PC's to record, mix, master hi-res audio tracks and albums. With the standard setup video was 'passable' but really no fun at all as a gaming experience. Glitchy, slow FR, video drops, uneven play, etc...Things just took much longer to do - even my mouse clicks were affected by the catching up the video system had to do. I always wanted to upgrade my video but I thought a larger power supply was required (at least 500 watts). I am not good enough around the PC to swap-out power supplies, so I needed to find the best video card which would work on 320 watts - and I think I found it. The 4 GB GTX 1050 card made all the difference in the world. Immediate improvement to the point of losing sleep for playing all the time. Video is crisp, clear, and smooth. It was like playing those games for the first time - really. Just a wonderful improvement. For my music production, the DAW, instruments, and samples load faster and I can tell the machine struggles less to process 24/48 files. Very smooth and fast. The important thing is you can probably install this yourself - even if you aren't a whiz at it (I'm not). Obviously make sure the card you choose to buy will function in your specific machine or application. It took me 15 minutes to remove the PC cover, remove old card, install new card, close cover, then download up to date drivers. As I said, this card works with 320 watts, so inspect your power supply and make sure you know what its capacity is. Gaming is fun again. Check out the GTX 1050.

Honestly flawless card, it doesnt need any pcie power connectors so it only runs off of the pcie slot but, now in 2024 i would recommend buying the 6gb rtx 3050 for cheaper (it also does not have any external power connectors)

I have a 3650 Inspirion: 3.2 GHz Core i5-4460, 12 GD DDR, 1600 MHz. UPS is a whopping 240 and that was what had me nervous (most call for 300 or more). I replaced a GT 730 that at the time was the one card I knew would work. So far his thing has worked like a charm. Quite, fan shuts off during normal activity. I am very impressed and feel it was worth the money I spent on it. I did have Nvidia control panel set up already so did not use the included install disc but did my own driver update.

If your struggling to get good fps this card is a great first upgrade. Even when i play call of duty cold war on medium to high settings i get a nice 60-75fps. I couldn't hear the card even when ramping up the fan! The drivers were pretty easy to install, with a little help from google. The install was literally just slotting into my motherboard and done! I highly recommend this product! But if you want something that gives you 120+fps on high settings, maybe look for something better.

I purchased this card for my ageing home theater PC. The CPU in it wasn't capable of hardware decoding H.265. Video would constantly jerk as the CPU utilization was at 100% the entire time. After installation of the card, I can stream a full 1080 stream of H.265 video with very little GPU utilization, and my CPU sits at around 10% usage. The two best things about this card are the fact that it doesn't require an extra power cable, and that the fan almost never turns on during light HTPC work.
