This board seemed like a good option with some of the features while not being crazy expensive. Installation was like any other motherboard. I well say that the spacing on the 1x pcie riser was very good. My GPU is a 2 and then some slot. This still left plenty of clearance for a network card underneath. If your willing to get a board without wifi this has been great. No boot issues. First power on was with no issues. Speeds have been exactly what I expected from the specs. This is a solid entry for a b650 board. The biggest con to it is that it doesn't take Sata SSDs, so plan accordingly (had to get an enclosure for mine). But it takes plenty of regular sata drives, and it's held up well for me. The IO in the back is fine, usb-c is nice to see on a more budget board. Bios is fairly easy and intuitive to operate. It's had zero problems for the months I've owned it. It's got a decent amount of overclocking options, but I'm not into that enough to really say whether it's good for that or not. But b650 is a great architecture to get into, since AMD has promised support for it for ages. ... show more

Fan turns on but no screen, googled, found that you have to put RAMs in socket bank #2 and #4. I have exact same board that has no problem with RAMs socket #1 and #3, which are supposed to be first dual socket installation. Duh! Windows 11 media USB doesn't recognize m.2 (tried Samsung 980 and Crucial P3), downloaded 2 pre-install driver from Gigabyte (which have nothing to do with m.2 driver) and saved into USB root folder and it started to install Windows 11. Strange and stupid. This is why this MB have so many negative reviews. ... show more

Made the switch to am5, and ddr5. Board is currently running a 6800xt, 7600x, and 32gb 5600mhz ddr5 memory. Ive had zero issues with it, since start up. Bios was easy to deal with, first start up went smooth and quickly. This is a cheaper board, so you lack things like bluetooth and wifi. For the price, you cant beat what your getting. Do note, that if your building with alot of fans like i did. You will need a fan hub, as this only has 3 fan headers. And, 1 ARGB header.. My only complaint. ... show more
