  • Good value
Size: mATX Style: B650M|K|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI
This is a solid entry for a b650 board. The biggest con to it is that it doesn't take Sata SSDs, so plan accordingly (had to get an enclosure for mine). But it takes plenty of regular sata drives, and it's held up well for me. The IO in the back is fine, usb-c is nice to see on a more budget board. Bios is fairly easy and intuitive to operate. It's had zero problems for the months I've owned it. It's got a decent amount of overclocking options, but I'm not into that enough to really say whether it's good for that or not. But b650 is a great architecture to get into, since AMD has promised support for it for ages. ... show more

  • Good spacing on pcie slots. No issues
Size: mATX Style: B650M|K|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI
This board seemed like a good option with some of the features while not being crazy expensive. Installation was like any other motherboard. I well say that the spacing on the 1x pcie riser was very good. My GPU is a 2 and then some slot. This still left plenty of clearance for a network card underneath. If your willing to get a board without wifi this has been great. No boot issues. First power on was with no issues. Speeds have been exactly what I expected from the specs. Good board with everything you need and some bells and whistles. This was the cheapest board with an argb header. Not needed but I wanted the option. ... show more

  • Could never get to boot. Flimsy connectors. No digital error code display.
Size: mATX Style: B850M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI
Never could get the MB to boot. Also was unable to get a BIOS update to flash --- it always reverted back to the factory BIOS. Also, the connections to the MB, particularly the front panel USB seemed cheap and loose. I returned and purchased the AORUS version of the same chipset and it booted successfully the first time. My complaint about virtually every MB sold now is that they now longer provide digital error codes. The 4-LEDs don't cut it when your machine doesn't boot. Hours of wasted time. ... show more

  • Neither good nor bad, but does what it's supposed to.
Size: mATX Style: B650M|D|M.2 x2|WIFI6
Picked this up thinking it was a DS3H model, but on delivery realized I made a mistake. Decided to keep it despite it not being what I thought I had ordered. I've built a few computers over the last couple of years for friends and family, and this one was for a personal office/light gaming build. The VRM design and power delivery is supposed to be fairly sub-par, but I've actually had zero issues with this computer since putting it together a few weeks ago. I'm not using the highest end parts for this since it's primarily an office build, so take this with a grain of salt. The CPU is a Ryzen 5 7600 with an aftermarket single tower cooler, the GPU is an RTX 4070 Super, and the case is the Lian Li A3 mATX. I selected a Patriot Viper 2x16GB 6000 cl36 memory kit because I liked how it looked, and EXPO worked with no issues. I did, however, update the BIOS before overclocking the RAM, so your mileage may vary. After putting the PC together and installing Windows I've had HWInfo64 running while using it. Through daily use, stress testing, and some gaming, the VRM temperatures don't get higher than 65C. Zen4 is a weird one with temperatures compared to past generations, where the 7600 idle temps are around 45C-52C and the load temps are between 65C and 75C. This seems to be pretty standard, but I feel like the power delivery of the motherboard is part of the cause between the low and high difference. That's not necessarily a knock against the motherboard, but is a note that I wouldn't want to put anything that needs more wattage in this motherboard. For a budget, entry-level board it is fine. There is only one CPU fan header, so a splitter would be necessary if you wanted to use anything with more than one fan. There are RGB headers if you need them, as well as a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (USB-C) header which surprised me. There are two M.2 slots on this motherboard, it has a 2.5Gb LAN connection, and has an included Wi-Fi 6e chip. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi adapter wanted to default to 2.4 so I had to change some device settings. Since then, no issues. Would I buy this motherboard again? Maybe, maybe not. There are plenty of budget options that do the same, give or take, and some of those have non-digital VRM implementations. I don't dislike this motherboard, again, but I feel it restricts itself a little bit on upgradability based on the power delivery and temperatures (there are videos on YouTube discussing the heat that some of the components create and hold on to, check them out). tldr; it's a fine motherboard, but I would make sure you choose some components wisely concerning overall temperature ... show more

  • Great motherboard, plenty of ports, easy to use bios!
Size: mATX Style: B650M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI
Very good bios, very well labeled, and theres just the right amount of usb ports. It's smaller than I expected, but that's on me for not doing research and doesn't detract from the rating. The I/O shield is flimsy, but that's okay, and other than that, it's a great motherboard, and survives my clumsy ass very well! ... show more

  • The ethernet port is not 2.5 Gbps up and down.
Size: mATX Style: B650M|D|M.2 x2|Non-WIFI
My router can only output 1000/1000 per LAN port and this motherboard shows to support 2500/2500. When connected to the router, it should show 1000/1000; however, the ethernet port on Windows only shows 100/100. It gets the job done; however, I am limited to 100 Mbps download and upload speed. Of course, I'm using Cat 6 cable which can support higher speeds but my ISP throttles me at 2.5 Gbps and my router's LAN capability is only 1000/1000 per Ethernet port. Other than that the motherboard is a great motherboard for a decently cheap DDR5 capable build. ... show more
