Last year, I actually got the upsamples Gold frames and I loved them! They look VERY expensive and beautiful. However, they use real glass and one of them was already broken upon arrival. And it seems like many reviews said the same problem. So this year I decided to give a try to Giftgarden Gold Frames. It was very inexpensive ($36 for 12 frames!) so I was worried about the quality. But overall, I am very satisfied so I ordered it again. It is light weighted and the plexiglass is very sturdy then the real glass. So none of the frames arrived damaged. Compared to upsample Gold frames, the Giftgarden Gold frames are much thinner, lighter but it has bit cheaper looks. The plexiglass also looks less expensive then the real glass but at least there is no worry it to be shattered. I got 24 frames of Giftgarden frames now but none of them arrived damaged. However, the hooks that come with the frames are very small and not stable, and the part to use the hook are also very small. My husband and I dropped the hook many time and eventually dropped one frame to carpet floor because the hook. The frame got broken from the fall. So I strongly suggest to use a better hook or a nail to securely hung this frame. Otherwise, it is a great value frame. ... show more

I wanted some plain 4x6 frames to decorate for my daughter's birthday and these were it. Look how cute they turned out with these flowers. They're decent quality for the price. Not like something you would get a $1 store. I would buy them again for another project.

    • Too much plastic & wrapping

These frames are fine and will work well. I am trying to reduce the amount of plastic and packaging I consume. These frames were boxed with 5-6 pieces of styrofoam, which I rarely see any more since it's so toxic. The frames were individually wrapped in plastic. And there was a removable plastic protective coating on both sides of each (plastic) see-through part of the frames. It took a long time to unwrap them and they produced an excessive amount of garbage. Three layers of protection is too much. My son came home the other day and said, "I'm sad, Mom. The planet is burning." I need to work harder to reduce our use of plastic, which turns natural resources into toxic waste. I hope this company considers doing the same. ... show more
