I love these dishes (so pretty). The size is smaller than a normal dinner plate, but I like that too! I like the medium sized plate, which is larger than a dessert plate (by double the size) and the bowls are deep and love how they flare out! Did I mention I LOVE these? Wish I could purchase cups and saucers, searched but they haven't made them! Pretty dishes, makes me smile, I enjoy them everyday and even used them for Holidays as they are that pretty! ... show more

Update!!! My toddler put his plate into the sink and it broke. There wasn't anything in the sink for it to hit and it's not a very deep sink. I watched him do it, he didn't even throw it. It hit the bottom of the sink and broke into 3 pieces. I'm wary of the "chip and break proof"- ability of this set. ******** I just got my plate set and I tried not to have my hopes up and was expecting at least one of them to have a flaw or be broken. I am so happy and surprised by how well it was packaged, not one dish was broken or even chipped. I haven't had a chance to use them yet. Hopefully they stand up against my toddler but I am just so happy about the delivery, I was very worried about ordering plates online. The plates have a nice feel to them, they are lightweight and uniform- not warped, marked or anything. Happy so far!! ... show more

After 25 years of using a set of stoneware for my every day dishes, these are such a bright and light difference! My only disappointment was the lack of a matching cup or mug. I found cups from another company in the same material and colors, but not pattern. Oh well, I'm still happy.

Somewhere, I read that having white plates makes food seem more appetizing, especially for people who are growing older and may be losing their appetite. The white background on these plates is brilliant. The flowers are the definition of cheerful. These are not Corelle, but seem almost just like that brand. They all survived their first washing in the dishwasher unscathed, no scratches or chips. The surface on the bottoms of the bowls and plates are slightly textured. That's a nice touch, making them less likely to drop. These are not plates for presidential dinners or mega-yacht cruises. They are every day dishes for regular people. I bought this plate and bowl set becuase I have smaller kids and I wanted a complete set that couldn’t be broken. Well a bowl fell not even 3 inches and shattered on my counter. Then yesterday my daughter dropped one about a foot off the ground and it shattered. It was very disappointing.
