I don’t understand all of the negative reviews on this. We just received 2 orders of the 4 set and nothing was damaged or cracked. It looks beautiful. These are very fragile though, so be careful with them. I would 100% recommend these to anyone. I love the dishes they are very pretty and I love the colors. I ordered 2 boxes originally and each had broken plates. I was shipped out a 3rd box and it had broken plates as well. With all 3 boxes I was able to have enough plates for 2 sets. Amazon packed them really well but I guess they were broken on the shipment to Amazon from the manufacturer. A handle broke off one of the mugs as I was pulling it carefully out of the box but I still recommend it. I have a visual impairment and it helps to have square instead of round dishes, Also, the solid light color helps food contrast against so that helps. This set is beautiful and it fits my kitchen décor nicely. My only issue was after about a week of use one of the plates cracked in my hands as I was taking it out of the dishwasher. clean crack straight through the plate. The plates say dishwasher safe but after that I now either was them by hand or with a lower water temperature in my dishwasher and run it twice. I purchased two sets so now rather then having 8 settings I only have 7... we are only a family of 5 but still I really like to have 8 settings. Bottom line great set but be careful of the temperature you use when you use the dishwasher. ... show more

    • Good packing! Bad longevity! (Read edits)
I ordered two sets of these and fully expected to receive at least one broken dish. especially after their arrival yesterday, when I saw our poor mailman struggling with the large, unevenly-weighted box (they were packed with other items). However, when I opened them all up, every single piece was in perfect condition. I have yet to see how they hold up to longterm wear, but I can say right now that they are every bit as sturdy and pretty as they appear. So far, so perfect! Edit: It's been seven months. All but one of our bowls are chipped. They heat up ridiculously hot in the microwave. More than once, we've picked up a mug and the handle just - boop - popped right off. Thankfully, it's so far been timed well with empty cups. I'd be super angry if they'd have been full of hot coffee. They were so pretty. And shaped so wonderfully. They really were. I'm so sad now. Edit 2: It’s been about two and a half years now. We have two large and three small plates left, out of our original double order (so out of 8 each). Three of our five remaining plates have chips in them. The bowls have been gone for a couple months, and the mugs gone so long, I’ve almost forgotten what life was like when they existed. We aren’t super hard on our dishes, but we do use them. Meanwhile, we’re back to using the old dishes from the box store that are, like, 7 years old. (And far cheaper. Less pretty, though, so there’s that.) I do not recommend these dishes. ... show more

This came exactly as it was advertised. The color was accurate and beautiful. Yes! These dishes are very fragile so you MUST handle with care. I hope to have it for a long time.

Bought these to replace my older tableware. The color is beautiful and the feel is very high class. The bowls are nice size for cereal and salad and the plates are large enough to have a great meal and not so large that you want to go overboard with servings.
