I don’t understand all of the negative reviews on this. We just received 2 orders of the 4 set and nothing was damaged or cracked. It looks beautiful. These are very fragile though, so be careful with them. I would 100% recommend these to anyone. Unfortunately they did come in 1 day late but that’s because of Amazon’s fault so it doesn’t bother me as much. ... show more

This set is beautiful and it fits my kitchen décor nicely. My only issue was after about a week of use one of the plates cracked in my hands as I was taking it out of the dishwasher. clean crack straight through the plate. The plates say dishwasher safe but after that I now either was them by hand or with a lower water temperature in my dishwasher and run it twice. I purchased two sets so now rather then having 8 settings I only have 7... we are only a family of 5 but still I really like to have 8 settings. Bottom line great set but be careful of the temperature you use when you use the dishwasher. ... show more

Very nice and we like the product, however when we received them one of the coffee mugs handle was broken. They quickly credited our account and very polite in doing so. The only issues we have had with this product is 1. One of the coffee mug handles was broken in shipment and they quickly credited our account (thank you). 2. Though the products are great looking, there are a lot of blemishes in the coating (Fish eyes) and this was noticed in the earlier reviews and took our chance, still don't look bad though. 3. A second coffee mug handle cracked and only used once. So, overall, we love the color and style of the product, but when you buy products from China, I guess you get what you pay for. For the price, if it lasts a couple years we will be good. ... show more

    • Good packing! Bad longevity! (Read edits)
I ordered two sets of these and fully expected to receive at least one broken dish. especially after their arrival yesterday, when I saw our poor mailman struggling with the large, unevenly-weighted box (they were packed with other items). However, when I opened them all up, every single piece was in perfect condition. I have yet to see how they hold up to longterm wear, but I can say right now that they are every bit as sturdy and pretty as they appear. So far, so perfect! Edit: It's been seven months. All but one of our bowls are chipped. They heat up ridiculously hot in the microwave. More than once, we've picked up a mug and the handle just - boop - popped right off. Thankfully, it's so far been timed well with empty cups. I'd be super angry if they'd have been full of hot coffee. They were so pretty. And shaped so wonderfully. They really were. I'm so sad now. Edit 2: It’s been about two and a half years now. We have two large and three small plates left, out of our original double order (so out of 8 each). Three of our five remaining plates have chips in them. The bowls have been gone for a couple months, and the mugs gone so long, I’ve almost forgotten what life was like when they existed. We aren’t super hard on our dishes, but we do use them. Meanwhile, we’re back to using the old dishes from the box store that are, like, 7 years old. (And far cheaper. Less pretty, though, so there’s that.) I do not recommend these dishes. ... show more

Great dishes. There is a crackle type finish under the smooth enamel that's hard to see in the picture. They're not just plain turquoise. The glaze is slightly different on each piece, some darker, some lighter. I like that the bowls are deep. The small plates are very small. The mugs actually are useable, so often in sets like this the mugs have a low capacity rendering them next to useless. The dishes seem to be holding up well, they're light for their size. They don't get overly hot in the microwave. Lastly, mine arrived undamaged, so no problem there. ... show more

    • Great for everyday use and still almost elegant.
Packaged well; no chips noted. These dishes have a hefty feel and the exterior has the feel of stoneware. The interior is beautifully glazed turquoise.
